There is more to running as a QB than speed and quickness when IN PADS. Levis does not show that like a Josh Allen.

Absolutely, he looked bad then. No excuses at all, I do know he had shoulder and foot injuries. Still he has to do better.
That doesn’t take away from the obvious talent there. Physically there isn’t much better options. Between him and Richardson it’s a toss up, Richardson a little more raw but younger. Levis more ready now but older

You obviously haven’t watched enough games, Levis has made some Allen type runs.

I don't care about the ATHLETE. I care about the better QB. That is Young.4

You know who is NOT a great Athlete? Tom Brady. However, he is the BEST QB in the history of the game.

When you’re as small as Young you have to have something else besides quick processing. Small, pocket passers without elite athleticism are not very common

    Agreed, it's a risk I wouldn't take.

How many of his games have you watched? I've watched quite a few. I really dont see him as a fumbler. I will say he regressed this year over last year. Your concerns are valid, but good coaching can help improve those areas. What we dont know is did he regress because of the talent around him, was he playing injured or is he simply not that good.

I'm guessing the lack of talent on the OL this yr greatly contributed to some of the issues you pointed out. Problem is, when a QB is shell shocked the odds of him becoming what he can become is rare. But it can happen, this did happen with Allen, but I wouldn't bet on it happening with Levis.

    Yep that's my feeling.
Not so much bust but injury risk.
The play this year when he hurt his shoulder didn't look that bad at first.
In the NFL the players weigh more and will take a 15yarder here and there to make you "feel them".
My biggest worry about Young atm is what is his actual height?

I've seen footage of him next to Saban where he only looks an inch (or two) at the most taller.
Saban is like 5'6'' or 5'7'' iirc.

If Bryce turns out to be only 5'8'' that would really give me pause, especially with his slight build!

This is my whole opinion on him too. I love literally everything about the kid. The brain, well spoken, good leader, calm under pressure, arm talent, off script ability, accuracy. But the elephant in the room is his size.

Like you said, there’s photos where he legit looks 5’8

I will count you in the group that likes midget p*rn.

I guess it's exciting and that's what you're looking for.

Tell me when the next midget QB wins a championship. There's been 1 since 1968.

Brady also has elite size for the position and great pocket mobility

If Young's the pick this is the way I would go.

Except with Young being so short I want to give him tall guys to throw too.

    1-1 Young
    1-12 Johnston 6'4 WR
    2-32 Washington 6'7 280 Lbs TE.

And I love Mayer. He's going to be a Friermuth type TE.

Hopefully with the return of a healthy Metchie next year, I'd love to pick Michael Mayer or Darnell Washington.

Add a WR1 through the draft and you've got a very solid WR corps.

I think I would draft Hooker, in the 3rd round, I dont watch much college, only highlights, so idk how many people think about him, especially those who watch games, but I really liked what I saw I think he goes 3rd round because of the ACL injury, but I think he could play well, without selecting a QB in the 1st round, and use the first pick to get defensive players to stop the run or getting to the QBs, like Will Anderson.

If you're gonna take a longshot on a QB in this draft and they're all longshots in this draft, give me Hooker at 3-64 over any of the top 3 QBs at 1-1.

He’d be fine as a 3rd round flier. I’ve watched every game this year. The Vols would be in the playoffs if he could throw the long ball consistently. Great runner, strong enough arm but very inaccurate at times.

Even better: Cameron Ward at 3.64
