    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10058513-latest-nba-intel-on-trade-season-storylines

    Mo Bamba is available:

    1. The Orlando Magic re-signed Bamba to trade him; at least, that's how it appears. His role has diminished this season with the arrival of No. 1 pick Paolo Banchero and the emergence of Bol Bol.

Bamba (who can't be dealt until mid-January) is on a two-year $20.6 million contract, but the second season is non-guaranteed. Orlando would like a first but may be looking for younger players who can grow with its young team longer term.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Lakers, Kings and Raptors may have interest, among others. The Magic (8-20), who have one of the worst records in the league, may also look to move veterans Gary Harris and Terrence Ross. Teams who miss out on the flashier available wings may give Orlando a call.

This guy is a PERFECT fit for starting Center on this team a shot blocking big man who can roll to the rim and shoot a 3pter....

This is the kind of guy I would like to see the Rox trade some of our pieces for.....I mean if you can get him for KJ Martin and Ego - do it.....this guy just fits into what the Rox are building so well.

only the cf village idiots would advocate signing a scrub like mo bamba. already tired of seeing lazy low effort plays by kpj, don't want to make it worse by signing an idiot like bamba.

I wouldn’t mind kicking the tires on Bamba, but I don’t love kicking Fernando and Garuba out of the rotation.

Also not moving KJ or a first for Bamba, if we can get him as a part of a EG or Tate deal for a couple of 2nds maybe, but still the rotation would be difficult, not sure it would be worth it.

He said he's a perfect fit for starting center so i think he's keeping them in the rotation. lol

Mo Bamba would be perfect as the starting center on this team - gives everything that we lack, a rim protecting big and a 3pt threat....we can move Sengun to the PF spot, or let them play together at times....with Sengun on the block and Mo at the 3pt line on offense and have Mo on defense take the lane/big.

    Starting lineup of:

    KPJ
    Green
    Jabari
    Sengun
    Mo Bamba

Jabari at the SF position ala Ariza.....Sengun as Scola - and Bamba as ...welll Yao....lol.

I think this would be a very interesting and big lineup....that is built to play well together.

I think Sengun at 4 and Bari at 3 is a beautiful dream that would never work. But even if you are going to experiment that lineup, you have to try Bruno/Sengun/Bari lineup for a significant amount of time together before you go for Bamba unless you think he can be a backup center too which means no minutes for Garuba and Bruno.

Magic fans can't wait to get rid of the guy.
Think he's a low bball iq, low energy scrub and want him gone.

    Hard pass for me.
We have enough low bball iq players here as it is!
We sure can't expect Silas to change that!

I don’t know if Sengun can keep up with opposing PFs, or rather I am not hopeful/optimistic.

The problem with Mo Bamba is that it’s unclear that he’s better this year than last. In fact, there’s a statistical case to be made that he’s not. I still think he has some upside; he’s only 24 and it always takes bigs longer to develop. But I don’t think he’s a guy you go out and pay. He’s not even averaging a block with all that size. Maybe some of these stats are warped by him playing less minutes generally this year, but even over 36 min his production is down. Maybe a default plan, but not super excited about a Mo Bamba pursuit. He’s not a good defender.

We're gonna unlock his magical bball abilities that have been hidden in plain sight!
We're so much smarter than every other team that he's played for that wanted to dump him!

    Amazing!
    I can't wait!
    I am so exciiite!

I can't even say Mo Bamba without saying Bo Mamba first. Pass.

He definitely does not bring the same energy. So he is already behind on the count...

This the kinda player we NEED? Someone who only needs to be better than Bruno? That's quite a drop off from your earlier thesis..

I don't think I would classify kpj as a low effort guy. He makes dumb plays but I think for the most part he tries.
