Jabari is settling in and getting comfortable in the NBA. He is a great team player and seems to be fine with his role and as he comes into his own he will command the ball more on offense, but his defense is what is starting to really pop. Super excited for his future here!

On our new PF or the "PG" project that won't pass the ball?

Not that these are similar, since Yao was definitively THE franchise player, but you see what happened with Steve Francis right after that.

    KPJ's time is coming.

Jabari has been so good lately that I find myself just waiting for the dropoff. He's just been too good, now playing like I had hoped he would play (excellent shooting + excellent D). But it's unrealistic to think a guy that young can keep it going for too long.

he is very good at 3pt
he can do screens instead of sengun, because when you screen guard you can go back to 3pt line and your guard can shot or pass back to you
sengun can wait for post up so there will be 3 options + corner shots

It shouldn't be for him. What he's doing now is playing right into his skillsets. Shooting and defense. His issue to start the season was missing a lot of wide open looks.

It would be more unrealistic if Jabari was doing something outside of his wheelhouse, but he's doing exactly what he did at Auburn. Shooting is a skill that's easier to translate to the next level, even a complete bust like Jimmer Fredette was an NBA shooter. Other skills that rely more on physicality like driving, finishing ability, and defense have a deeper learning curve. That Jabari is already showing as a plus defender bodes very well for the future.

Still a bust, right? Still no future as a star due to supposed lack of handles, right?

To be fair, everyone CONSTANTLY waves him off. Kid's getting ignored out there for the most part. Even when he's on fire, for whatever reasons, they refuse.

    Insane.

Jabari has been extremely impressive playing within the offense, for instance going 4-5 last night in route to an easy 14/8. His basketball IQ is off the charts and could be a future all star /defensive first team.

The potential upside with Jabari's game is getting more clear. Really love how he's developing as he's getting accustomed to the league.

There is no better franchise for the Rockets than the Thunder. Not to mention the business for Harden, Oklahoma has gifted us Sengun and Jabari in two drafts... in a row. Amazing!
