22 turnovers to 9. Could be a shot that goes up and comes off the rim and rebound on to a Rockets player and out of bounds...........little things like that get you an extra shot chance. We also took 15 more free throws, they don't go down as FG attempts
Suns had 13 less turnovers so that’s 13 extra possessions they got a FG attempt. Rockets took 15 more free throws so that’s roughly 7 possessions where we didn’t attempt a FG.
We went from 9-18 to 11-31 last season. I would expect to have a better record than that over the next 2-3 weeks.
Similar to previous game. Sengun+Jabari frontcourt stopped any big except Jokic+Embiid recently.Even 76ers game was won. I don't know whether we have one of the best backcourt or not but our frontcourt is becoming more efficient day by day. Not very spectecular but certainly efficient.
Within the "holy quartet", it is possible Tari to become face of the franchise instead of JGreen+Alpi+Jabari.trio. In anycase we have 4 players potentially to be superstar. They will bring multiple championships to Houston in next 10 years. Good boys.
Actually JG was 7-12 at one point and missed his last 5 shots of the game, many of them being when he had to jack up an off balance 3 off a pass at the end of the shot clock or in the last 2 minutes when he and KPJ were taking turns holding the ball for the entire 24 second clock and jacking at the end just to burn clock. So he was fairly hot. KPJ on the other hand was 4-13 at one point with several bad turnovers and a slew of really stupid fouls that got and kept him in foul trouble. He made a couple of baskets at the end when the game was already decided to make his stat line look better than it really was. I actually saw KPJ and Jabari on semi-breaks have a wide open JG on the right side and ignore him. Jabari passed to a covered KPJ on the left and then went that way (to try and get a pass/post-up) but KPJ on his actually dribbled over to the left side to get away from an open Jalen on the right. I know the players all want to get "theirs", but you shouldn't go away from the hot hand, especially when it's your best player.
You skipping out on Houston would be a huge mistake. Houston is the shizzle for rizzle. Everything that you could ever want as a tourist is right here in the 4th largest, most diverse and most beautiful city in America. Don't rob yourself of such an experience.
On March, I'll first visit toronto then London on 15th, and will stay most probably at Hilton Tower Bridge.
They would never quite have those three great PF amigos that play around the same era again. TD, KG, DN. Bosh was a tad younger. The playing styles were much different but they got the job done at their position. League would never really have someone like Garnett, Duncan or Nowitzki again, those were too much of originals OGs back then. KG also had that charismatic smile even when he was mean on the court. Some hockey town going crazy about KG, Marbury, SamIAm and Latrell Sprewell.
