Could have just titled it biden nuclear official..etc.

The non binary part is so unnecessary.

Person sexual identity doesn't really matter when they commit a crime nor race/religion. Only folks who want to push an agenda about a certain group will do this.

Ignoring the rest of the thread entirely - I don't understand this preferred pronoun stuff, I mean I do in terms of their not wanting to use he and she .... but

Grammatically - They and Them are plural, meaning "they" are words used to describe multiple people, places or things.

I get that these people don't care to be painted inside box of traditional gender being referred to as he and she and that "It" probably comes off as insensitive? (for lack of a better word)

The use of they and them to describe some individual person almost seems to me like they want to be referred to as multiple people or some part of a group rather than an individual .... either that or whoever came up with this brilliant idea wasn't very good at grammar.

except when you're stealing ladies' luggage. then one's sexual identity might matter when they commit a crime . . . just as race might matter if someone commits a hate crime and religion might matter if one burns down a church or synagogue.

other than that, sexual identity, race, and religion doesn't really matter when people commit crimes.

Mental illness or distress might come up as a defense in the trial.

Isn't this a self fulfilling prophecy?

Claim they are mentally ill. Have a constant stream of hate content denying their existence resulting in real life consequences like being harassed in real life or being kicked out of their family etc all things that can effect mental health.

Trans people then complain about mental health issues.

People like you are literally creating the environment for them to have mental health issues through constant non-stop haarrasment.

Singular they/them is not a new thing that was invented for non-binary or transgender people.

    Singular 'They' | Merriam-Webster

We will note that they has been in consistent use as a singular pronoun since the late 1300s; that the development of singular they mirrors the development of the singular you from the plural you, yet we don’t complain that singular you is ungrammatical; and that regardless of what detractors say, nearly everyone uses the singular they in casual conversation and often in formal writing.

Yeah something about that has bothered me and I think you hit the nail on head.

It's also something to draw attention to yourself, IMO it comes off as kind of negative like they are others?

So does he go to non-binary prison or men's prison or women's prison?

Singular they is very common, especially when talking about an unknown third party. For example, you might see a poorly parked car and say, "They must have been in a real hurry." or "They're likely to get a ticket."
