its ok to feel sorry for anyone...just not my cup of tea...i also understand people who were not priorities in silas family life like sengun fans not feeling sorry for him...

he didnt mind making their, and other rockets fans life, hell for years!...and now its only fair they feel nothing for him...sports is to these people more than life...its reason for living...

had he cared and treated sengun fair and professional i am sure the entire turkey would be crying now...

turkish people i met are fair and decent, their presence is enlightening...they are respecting people, intelligent, they are not fanatics...

    Oh, don't worry - they did. :)
    I wasn't a 49-yr old millionaire when they did, I tell you.
    My father passed at 52; I was 20. (Cander - bedridden 2 yr.s)
My mother passed at 70; I was 46. (ALS - bedridden 2.5 years.)
    So do I qualify? :)

sure for the last night....didnt even watch but ok...

but what about hes been here 2 years now and he played only 3 or so 35 minutes games? LOLOLOL
    thats 100% DISRESPECT AND INCOMPETENCE

the thing is, if he were given PT before HED BE READY FOR THAT MATCHUP NOW

its a self feeding circle of incompetence where sengun is consciously pulled back only to be blamed for lack of talent and not being able to hold his own then denied PT based on that, when hes simply not let to play tru his mistakes, grow and find his rhythm!

Thank you, but please don't be sorry. Valar morghulis, remember? ;)
This is life; we play the hands we are dealt. We look back at the end and see what we have accomplished. If we leave this world happily, it's been a good life.
For some, success is a fat bank balance or owning valuable real estate, a boat...
For others, a happy family or being good at one's job.
For others yet, having planted thousands of trees, providing food for the homeless, etc...

I'm sure Paul Silas led a good life - long, too. He achieved a lot and will be remembered with love and respect by many people. What's the reason to feel sorry for him?

Do we feel sorry for someone who spent very fulfilling time during his stay among us?
Do we feel sorry for another man who is nearly 50, born to well-off parents, had a good education and has been given every opportunity to succeed?
Do we call the latter Little Orphan Stephie to show we care?

All those b!tches talking about decency yadda yadda - they're just lowly hypocrites. They just play to the crowd; typing emotional stuff here, actually feeling nothing about people they don't even know.

    Liars.

NB: Being a multimillionaire never hurts! :)

With how amazing Jalen and Smith Jr performed, I forgot about KPJ's game. He only had 1 terrible turnover. The rest of his T.Os were trying to make the right play which is what you want. Sengun also played excellent defense using the same metrics people use to judge his bad defensive games. It's almost like when perimeter D is played, the rest comes more into focus. Bruno had that crucial stop on Giannis Michaels when he came in during the final minute.
And although they were the same rotations as Silas, Lucas staggered the guards and even Sengun. It was perfect. Sengun should have finished with 29 minutes(which I think is the most optimal as he grows) but there was a point in the game where there was no deadball and both Jabari and Gun waited for like 4 minutes in real time to check back in from the scorer's table.

I missed where Matthews scored 2 points and they were not free throws. I'm still puzzled. Was it a lay up?

Having money doesn’t matter when it comes to the pain of losing someone. Like wtf kind of dumb logic is that? Rich or poor, it doesn’t mean the death of a parent hurts less. Your pain and Stephen’s pain are both devastating and sad

    The SOF Euro checklist:

    1. Racist
    2. Heartless
    3. Intolerant
    4. Biased
    5. Ugly
    6. Smelly
    7. Pathetic

You people make having Sengun here a turn off. Part of me wishes he was never drafted because of you despicable "only fans." Let us know when you have a death in the family so we can throw a party - karma is real it wont be long.

Thank you for that last sentence.

When we lose people dear to us, we are sorry for ourselves, not them. We don't know anything about what they experience after they leave. On the other hand, we are left behind in misery, having lost a part of us we love. New deal, new rules, and we try to cope and hold our own life together. They say time heals all, and they're right: Life goes on.

It's healthy to mourn for a short while, acknowledging the loss. This amount of time changes varies by individuals. I tend not to mourn or be sad at all if the deceased has led a good life. Instead, I'm happy with the mark they have left in our world.

    About the money thing:

I haven't said you could drown your sorrows partying and snorting coke off bikini models' bellies in Monte Carlo. :)

My parents' sicknesses cost us 3 houses and a good deal of land. I don't care; now I have a clear conscience about what could've been done to keep them alive. We did everything we could. My father was flown to London from Istanbul. Bone marrow cancer treatment was still at an experimental stage, but we decided to go for it, because we could. (Sadly it was too late; he was so weakened his body could not support the treatment so he flew back in a coffin.)

This is where money helps. It definitely beats sitting around helplessly while a loved one's suffering because you can't afford treatment.
