    not sure he would delete all his Rockets-related content, photos etc., for a Valley reassignment. This sounds like they probably told him he's gone before trade season opens up Dec 15

    You're probably right, but it's hard to imagine he would be anything other than salary filler. He's turnover prone and not quick enough to finish at the rim, it's hard to imagine getting an asset in return for Nix.

    Very little chance of an asset in return.
    It may be nothing. It may be that we are sending out a player or players and receiving one more in return and need to waive someone?
