Like the "truth" (sic) that Trump "won" (sic) the 2020 election? That was suppressed? And the "lie" (sic) that Biden won the election? Just trivial stuff like that, right?

Another meaningless tweet on a planet-sized dunghill of meaningless tweets.
What a horrible platform, no matter who's running it and no matter who's running their mouth.

    Small world.

The beautiful thing about the internet is that anyone is free to host anything barring illegal content but even that’s all out there. Even in China and Iran, people can access a whole slew of anti-government views.

Twitter and Facebook should not be elevated above the rest of the internet. They are platforms like the dozens of others out there. They can run how they see fit. You know what platform has been open to right wing takes and closed to left wing ones? Parler and Truth. And as far I as know, no legislation exists to curb or ban either service.

Twitter is not the final social media platform. Neither is Facebook.

Is Elon eying a political career in the US or something? He obviously can’t be president, but maybe he has other plans.

Seems like he’s using Trump’s strategy to gain popularity.

You act like people in the 30's knew he was about to start a great world War and commit genocide. Everyone was doing business with Germany. You mistaken doing business as pandering. Musk is all about making money. He doesn't give a **** about wokeism or cultural wars unless it affects his bottom line.

I've said this multiple time. He will use Twitter to promote his own agenda. He doesn't give a **** about your beloved Democrat party, or Republicans for that matter, as long as they don't get in the way of his vision. He IS going to politically weaponize Twitter and his goal is to further push the Right to go harder against the Democrats, just like Trump.

May both parties burn to the ground.

He doesn't need to run for office. He will simply mine the Twitter Metadata and give it to the politicians who bow to his feet.

Nobody of real intelligence goes into politics.

Who buys Teslas, though? His wealth is Tesla.
$44 billion is an unfathomable amount of money for any individual and Musk was able to spend that much and still have more money ($100 billion plus) than many small nations due to Tesla’s high valuation.

But if liberals stop buying Tesla because of Musk, how low can Elon drop? I think to his credit he has a lot of real cash so he will never not be a billionaire. Meanwhile us regular folk think making a million a year is made-it money. But the difference between a million and a billion dollars is about a billion dollars.

I am not active on these platforms. Do they censor/ban/shadowban "left wing takes"?

Yes people before didn't know the warning signs of dehumanizing rhetoric for decades on end and it's consequences. They didn't then and many don't today.

You will bootlick for Elon with a streak of posts that imply you believe he's sincere about his "free speech" crucafe and act shocked and chagrined when someone calls you out and play the both sides game.

Ya so you agree that Elon's "free speech" crusade and "exposing the Democrat party" thing he's doing isn't a sincere ideological crusade but a grift to pander. You know that so what are you exactly disagreeing with here?

Fauci is a too big to fail sacred cow of those in power. Mockery is the most effective tool against such icons.

Tesla is a global product. He has much more to worried about than a few butthurt liberals not buying his product.

Hyperdriven political people have this notion that everyone cares about politics. Most people don't. They only care what the state is going to do for them. Threatening entitlements is what motivates people.

Question: is it your standard MO to result to childish insults when you can no longer add to a discussion?

I just clearly stated Musk is doing everything for his own personal gain and didn't say a word about Free Speech. Your triggered lizard brain went straight to "... blah blah boot licking Muskie believes everything about his free speech claim"

If doing what's best for one's own self interest is a grift, then most people including myself are grifters.

It's a grift when you are selling yourself as a person doing an ideological battle for free speech.

It makes people believe just spamming opposition corruption is "fighting for free speech". Very Bolsonaro like with how he gained popularity.

That explains why Elon smartly refused to say anything negative about the CCP or pro statements about the protests in China on his recent Spaces

Elon Musk does very political things on his platform he just bought. Who is making this political and why wouldn't you think the world's "wealthiest man" with the world's largest social platform in terms of news dissemination doing political talking points and propaganda for one political party over another would be news people talk about?
