You guys have to stop preaching this like its gospel - its factually incorrect. Teams Isolation | Stats | NBA.com The Rockets only run about 8.5 ISO possessions per game which equates to about 7.8% of the total number of possessions. They are also #6 in isolation efficiency .... three hundredths of a point shy of being #2
More falsehoods. Sengun plays the 5th most minutes per game on the team and shares minutes with two other players at the same position. Green & Porter 34.7 minutes per game Jabari 30.2 minutes per game EG 30.2 minutes per game (If you want to complain about something this is it - EG should never play another minute as a Rocket) Sengun 26.8 minutes per game Garuba (9th) and Fernando (11th) pick up the scraps at the C spot getting 15.4 & 13.6 respectively. A huge part of Sengun playing the minutes he does is fatigue - He was significantly heavier and had cardio / stamina issues before the draft. It's quite possible that Silas is spoon feeding him just what he needs over the season - 82 games is a long year. Fatigue leads to injury .... Bigs being particularly susceptible. It's been said by people up close that Tari, KJ & Sengun play so hard for stretches that when they come out of the game, they are on empty .... but hey, don't let that change the narrative. Silas sucks , fire Silas - Free Willy .... Errr Sengun.
there was some guy comparing silas to pop a couple of weeks ago. "even good coaches lose or something like that" lol
Silas after a rare win Silas after a close loss Silas after a blowout loss Silas after he finds the mailman banging his wife
If we aren’t a better team by allstar break everyone should be on the fire Silas train. I’m okay with losing, but we should be seeing some progress in year 3. If we get into February still looking this dysfunctional I don’t know how you let Silas coach the team next season, when we actually have to start winning.
i completely agree with this. Our players were on cruise control while pops players were full bore. unfortunately- I feel like this has been a problem dating back to the harden days.
I mean that was one of the absolute flaws of Dantoni, that he lived and died with those 3 plays and 8 guys. Hell or high water he wasn't changing. Not sure I agree with either coach saying play harder. If a guy is tired and is underperforming that's absolutely on the coach to recognize and adjust. Dantoni didn't because he felt that exhausted James Harden was a better option. I love this youth movement team but if Silas recognizes a guy struggling to keep up because of fatigue he's absolutely gotta go to the next man up. Exhausted Porter or Green haven't proven they can still overcome and win. Let the fresh legs take a shot at it and seriously don't go blame them in the presser. That's 100% on the coach and kind of a terrible leadership move to point the finger. I know his job is to lose. On that note he's doing the lord's work. It's just bullshit to watch (and seems like similarly bullshit for these young guys to experience).
If you are insinuating that Silas won't be fired because his father passed away, you are a sick human being and can **** right off. Show some ****ing empathy you piece of ****.
KPJ is always in cruise control, it’s another reason I don’t like him at PG….we miss so many fast break points because his head is down or he’s slowly bringing ball up court
I'm sorry for his loss; I hope he takes time off from basketball to just grieve after the awful news break.
Don’t try to smooth it over now you piece of ****.. basketball is just a game and we’re fans. This man just lost his father. Imo this thread should be put to rest for a bit, out of respect for Silas and his family. Go **** yourself
