Really hoping someone digs up some dirt on McNair like they did with Snyder. Unfortunately you cannot be ousted for being an incompetent buffoon.
Because they are undoubtedly being paid. You ever had a job you hated or worked for a boss you dispised? Did you refuse the paychecks because you're a person of integrity?............
My situation was/is in no way possible the same as theirs and it’s not even close…they are multi millionaires who are in now way hurting for a “paycheck” they have everything they need and if they really felt about the Texans the way they said they do…then just leave the franchise alone…I don’t get it
It always amazes me that far too many people assume rich people don't want or need money. If someone is willing to make it financially worth your time to kill three hours... no one turns that down. Taking money from a dullard with no strings attached is easy money.
I get the feeling that his life is so dull and boring (like his football team....) that there's no possible way he has any skeletons in the closet. Of course I have no way of knowing, it's just a feeling I get every time I see him, ya know? You can say a lot of things about Snyder but you can never say he was dull or boring.
He’s doing more then just killing 3 hours…Andre is a full on model for the franchise showing off the latest merch and everything I want somebody to ask Andre his thoughts on the organization now.
And? It's the owner. Do you know what is not changing? The owner. I suggest you find someone else to root for.
Man you have some weird responses. You always have a response when someone is critical of the Texans or the owner or anything else
Cal would be 400 lbs. and be a truck driver if he wasn't born into wealth and opportunity. He is mentally fragile by all accounts, he doesn't have a very high IQ and he isn't by nature a very driven person. I have never heard anyone say he is mean or nasty or a bad father or husband... he is just not someone that is independent or strong. He surrounds himself with people to reassure him that everything will be okay - very child like. That isn't because of his upbringing, that is just his personality. He is a bad owner. He is a poor judge of character and is easily manipulated. He is soft and that isn't going to change....... At least Bud Adams was self made and driven, same with Jerry Jones and most of the owners from 20-30 years ago. They "made something". Cal just wants to socialize with the protestant elite in River Oaks, eat well, drink his drink, spend some time with his family and live his life out when he dies from blocked arteries. Nothing amazingly great or terrible about him.
They won't sell unless they are forced to through family disputes or legal rulings. The NFL is probably the best family business in the world.... it is hard to screw up, the profit margins are insane, the product is big enough to support numerous family members and insure wealth and it is something you don't have to be great at to turn a big profit on.... and the appreciation is amazing. It is vogue for the uber rich now to not consider passing their wealth on to their off spring.... but I am really surprised that some of the ultra rich that are really old are not buying franchises and putting them in trusts.
Why would Cal ever be qualified to be a good decision maker or judge of character? What has he ever done in life/business/or even in his brief stint as the Texans owner to be granted that presumption?
cool. look around dude. It's like a ghost town over at nrg. I haven't seen a single snap this year and in general my sundays are now wide open. So yeah we have left and any post here is just a drive-by to sh*t on their lawn. that's means hoe you been sh*tted on ...i'm not the first dog that sh*tted on your lawn @tinman
Tilman is better than the ownership of the Texans for sure. They need to sell the team to Mattress Mack
Excuse me rookie, but is there a reason why you are dredging up a post from 3 months ago? I must say that at this time, you are not ready for dinners with captains of industry.
I'm fine if they want the consultants to run the team. Only Cal would spend more money indefinitely to make simple decisions that any other grownup with a semblance of life experience could be capable of doing.
