    Let's just be happy that there's another black head coach in a power five conference. I don't understand the sell-out takes when white coaches "elevate" every year.

    @pgabriel @Reeko

    Yes , he was making $300k and clearly putting the football team on the map with the media

    and allegedly the school president and staff took the profits and didn’t reinvest in the program and refused a television deal he brokered

    I think it also sounds bad he paid out of pocket for all of this stuff

    Colorado paid him $5 million a year

    I know the suckers and environmental terrorists and art history dropouts here don’t get it
    But math matters

    $5 million > $300k

    He coached at a HBCU for three years and went undefeated

    @Os Trigonum

    Deon deserves to come under scrutiny with him talking about how god told him to take the Jackson State job and acting like all of this is because of a higher calling, but it is par for the course.

    Agreed college coaches are like 1 rung away from tow truck driver and bail bondsman.

    Kiffin, herman etc all setting that par. It's a shame but state of the game and now at least students can jump around

    Deion did all that he could for JC while basically hopping around with one leg. I’m glad these damn corrupt ingrates got exposed. Go and make your marks in Colorado PrimeTime. I’m a lifelong fan!

    Deion Sanders is borrowing too much of his Colorado strategy from Elon Musk
