they really looked like they were taking a win for granted. gotta make the mistakes to learn the lessons
Tanks were unleashed tonight on the battlefield. Air strike was called off and infantry were pulled back. Send the Tanks!
It's so difficult for this team to play perimeter Defense when a team moves the ball around. Why not Eason guard Johnson and deny him the ball. I didn't even know my favorite Grizzlie Tyus Jones had a baby bro in the NBA before this game. Ridiculous.
Can we trade EG already? I feel really bad for him that he has to play with the trash like Nix in the 2nd unit. EG deserved to be playing for a contender.
I keep telling myself that sans Eric Gordon, our starting five is younger than the average NCAA team. I keep telling me this, and yet I get frustrated anyway. How the hell do we beat the Suns and Sixers and lay an egg like this against the depleted, tanking Spurs? Now, granted, the referees did screw us and take away a lot of momentum. But the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth was a travesty. I rarely call out players, but though Nix's numbers don't look awful this game, he is legit the laziest guard I've ever seen play. He has Harden level lapses on defense, without the upside when focused. He's slow-footed and seems to be playing and thinking at half speed a lot of the time. TyTy should supplant him the rotation ASAP, and if not that, then at least give JC a shot.
this is why all these random tweets people post about KPJ averaging X, Y, and Z in the past 4 games, shooting whatever high percentage in the past week, etc or being on some exclusive 19, 6, and 6 list is all bullsh*t another sub par game no consistency whatsoever
Nix should be getting 0 minutes. Silas shouldn't be an NBA head coach. Tonight was clear what good coaching can do for a bad team. Pop saw Silas and he smelled blood.
Why would you think Silas or Stone would be in hot seat? look up Tilman F and tanking and read / watch his interviews
