No one would be upset if KPJ was playing like Halliburton…. But it ain’t close.

KPJ isn’t as good as agenda driven folks believe.

And possibly never…. The Rockets are rebuilding and are more than happy to let KPJ lead us to a bad record. But we aren’t incentivized to get high draft picks after this season….

KPJ is good but is better suited as a 6th man.

That's the issue pal. He can't learn it. He's not a point guard. He hasn't developed a **** as a point guard.

    In your opinion.

At the end of the day, what the org decides will be fine with me, and if we inflate his stats over these next 2 years it only helps his trade value and gets further away from his outbursts....so win win.

No one is a PG anymore PAL, they are all combo scoring first guards.....PAL.

It means teams don't give these minutes to players performing like KPJ. That's why 19, 6, and 6 is completely meaningless.

Far more persuasive to who? U who is currently out here anointing 19 and 6 as some great feat that many players couldn’t do?

I guess our offense caters to Tari as much as Indiana’s caters to Haliburton because usage rate…I guess Jordan Poole and Harden dominate the offense at a similar level…that’s the persuasive argument you’re trying to peddle

KPJ dominates the ball far more than anyone else on the team, and no, it’s not just because “he brings the ball up”

Lol, are u not the one who brought up some meaningless list full of good players, and KPJ?

Here are the guys who average over 19 points along with over or near 6 boards and 6 assists:
    • Dejounte Murray
    • Nikola Jokic
    • Lebron James
    • Ja Morant
    • Kevin Durant
    • Stephen Curry
    • Giannis
    • Luka
    • KPJ
1 of these things is not like the others

Are the KPJ stans not the ones constantly mentioning Harden, Dame, Embiid, etc whenever somebody brings up KPJ’s turnovers?

So did Harden when we were so good all those years....BFD.

Look at all the players with similar turnover numbers....

KPJ leads the league in 3.9 Turnovers per game.

    Lillard 3.8
    Morant 3.8
    Giannis 3.7
    Luka 3.7

    This was u right?

    all superstars, and then KPJ

here we go again with some arbitrary stat line based off something as simple as usage rate which I already established doesn’t come close to capturing the whole picture…

Reggie Jackson already proved that even a way below average guard can put up those numbers if on a bad team and allowed to control the offense and take 15+ shots a game…however, most teams are smart enough to not give players of KPJ’s caliber enough shots or touches in order to put up an inefficient 19 points and 6 assists while being 1 of the leaders in turnovers

Inflated counting stats on trash efficiency is not something any teams value anymore. If efficiency doesn’t improve by a lot he won’t be of any use to us or any other team that’s trying to win.

Same with Cade same with Jalen same with anyone in the league.

Maybe but if he averages say 20+PPG 6 assists and 6boards.....while lowering his TOs a bit.....then we have a prospect to trade if we have a better option.

Teams would take a 23 year old averaging that, and most fan bases would be ecstatic to get him.

So, in other words, you can’t think of a current NBA comparison who you think “sucks.” Good to know when discussing this with you.

This board encapsulated: Either a starter will become a superstar, or he sucks.

I think you'd be surprised. Those stats would be the result of high volume, low efficiency. A Dollar Tree Westbrook making $18m per wouldn't move the needle for many teams. The contenders don't want to take much usage away from their stars, and the tanking teams mostly have high volume folks to run their offense through, and would prefer to get touches to their own youngsters.

We've explained time and time again. HATERS ARE GOING TO HATE. But NBA personnel know how good KPJ is

    And many others.

He already has inflated stats playing on the Rockets…. Right now he is “good stats, bad team” player.

And there are still many who run an offense better than KPJ. Not sure why we would settle for KPJ as our primary ball handler when we are no longer incentivized to be bad through the draft.

Just like the Wood brining lottery pick, 2 frps etc story. Even KPJ did not think that and signed the current contract.

Other teams would be much more interested to see KPJ functioning correctly in a team rather than inflated stats.

140 more games of KPJ at the PG position better buckle up buttercups.....we have AT LEAST this year and next of him running the show.

    58 this year 82 next.

Or we have 140 more games of the KPJ is not a PG brigade sounding like this:
