300,000 vs 300,000,000 are different things. It sounds like you are viewing this in a very insular way.
Ardern isn't an extremist. Only extremists see her as one. The concern I see with politicians like Arden & Trudeau is that its more publicist than politician.
A few days old but still good. I’m also in Auckland right now and it’s a dystopian nightmare. Upon arrival I was brutally interrogated by Jacinda’s police state enforcers who demanded I divulge personal secrets like if I was carrying beef jerky. Then they intimidated me with their vicious police dogs. A Bassett hound who they claimed was sniffing for contraband. This vicious Hell Hound brutally wagged its tail as it accosted a poor woman who had forgotten she had a McDonalds wrapper in her purse. I do not know her fate but can only speculate she was hauled off to a woke reeducation camp forever to properly pronounce words in Māori. Since I’ve been here I’ve been forced to hide from Jacinda’s stormtroopers in quaint cafes surviving on good coffee and locally sourced lamb. At night I hid out in pubs packed with others secretly standing up to Jacinda’s police state by drinking microbrew beer after last call..
Seriously though so far COVID measures seem almost non existent here. They didn’t even ask for my vaccination records at the airport. Very few people wear masks and there is little to know social distancing. The biggest COVID control measure I saw was at the airport they were handing out arrivals free COVID testing kits.
Thanks for the update almost 3 years after the pandemic started, and several months after Jacinda Ardern changed course (which we all know about; however, without admitting that what she did before was pure evil).
It is 100% true. Suddenly: Yeah...she respected nobody's individual decisions. How can you people, regardless of political affiliation, not see the passive aggressive fake compassion radiating from this person in practically every statement she makes? That barely masks her insane authoritarian fantasies.
Jacinda Ardern's fake "performative caring" is similar to Sam Bankman-Fried's fake "effective altruism".
