And that's a full season of Booker. Second half young players usually up their stats from adding more experience and teams more tired and resting for the post season.

Very few skinny 20 year old guards get to the line like Green did today. Even future star guards at 20 usually only score well and are helping their team when their jump shot is working.

Green willed his team without a jumper today.

Of course I'd rather the jumper be on but I would like him to be more like tonight than worry about effiency when we're behind big... I was highly impressed with him.. This shows he has the mindset to be a damn savage when he pins his ears back and go!.. Maybe I'm just stuck in the 90s/2000s way of thinking..

    Nah you thinking straight.

This is a huge improvement from beginning of the season when he let scrubs like that Carter guy on the Bucks scared him into be being very timid and passive.

The team was down double digits, Green was atrocious and usually young guys get timid and just disappear but nah this dude actually started talking **** lol... And backed it up. That made me smile so much.

Honestly that is one of my favorite things between Green, Alpi, Jabari and even KPJ. They aren't afraid or star struck with veteran teams. You see them yappin at these vet stars. Jabari did the little man gesture today. Damn that also made me smile so much. He's actually having fun now also.

Was also impressed with Jalen's fight on the defensive side of the ball. DBook is going to get his. It's truly hard to stop him when he has it going, but props to the coaching staff for actually implementing a strategy (doubling\trapping) in second half and props to Jalen for taking the challenge and locking him up in the final minutes of the game.

I am sooo on board the Jalen Green bandwagon!!!
Some will look at 8-24 FG and 5TOs and quibble, but fact of the matter is you win the NBA with fight and will. Fck percentages and efficiencies, you scratch and claw and bite and punch and push and shove, the thing that matters is the W. This was Iverson-Kobe type of performance.

It’s not a stretch to say green can be the SG version of Ja Morant.

I'm not normally a big fan of trash talking (let your game speak for you and all that), but sometimes on GP, you gotta let 'em know!

I like seeing this fire from Jalen when he is challenged and especially appreciate the response on a night when his shot wasn't falling. Gives me even more confidence that this kid is a special player when he can go for 30+ on a night of horrible outside shooting. Simply found a way to score.

Well to me the fact that he can do the top end shows how high his ceiling really is. 69% TS? LOL wtf

Something Morey never understood and is hard to understand without having some Experience playing.

Did Boban steal Jalen's jeans? That's like 5 sizes too small.

Not relying on 3s is his next big step and this is probably the first game in his career where he looked dominant scoring the ball without having the 3PT shot.

True the fact that he does not need the 3 ball and can still score 25+ is a good omen

Great fluidity to his game, spider like.

Getting to the line, which is one of the biggest indicators of an elite scorer.

    Continue getting better young fella.

His shot has been off and the TOs have been ugly but he’s getting to the line and making some great passes.
