We have 2 good defenders on this team. Their names are Tari Eason and Usman Garuba.

Tari is the best perimeter defender, Garuba the best interior defender. This is not really debatable.

He had James timing and position down pat because their offensive approach has similarities. He needs to learn how to defend others and disrupt them as much without gambling. With his size and athleticism he should be a lockdown defender

Like I said, he CAN be a good defender. He just doesn’t do it very often. Matter of fact, first time this season that I can remember he’s playing good defense throughout the game. Must be because of Harden. You can see when he’s on Harden, he’s locked in and determined to make Harden his bxxch. And he did. Would like to see more games like this from him.

Defensive rating of 104.9 today, very good. Acrually he and Jalen had 104, both defended nicely.

This thread was ABSOLUTELY perfectly timed. It showed who all the HATERS are and how off their assessments of KPJ where.

I go by the eye test. People provide numbers to backup their point of view but numbers can be skewered, so I don't go by ALL stats. The eye test show what KPJ can do, that's why the Rockets are sticking with him.

I'm looking at the Rocket's future and it's very bright. We have a 6'6 PG that can playmake and defend, a 6'6 SG that can score at all levels, a 6'8 SF in Eason that is a beast, a 19yr old 6'11 PF who can defend and shoot and a center in Sengun who is growing and developing. I think we can win 30 games this yr BUT If we get Wemby.....GOOD LARD!

Can we ask the opponents to print Harden’s name on their jersey every time they play against Rox?
