just seems like the D&D is the right place to stage this important debate.

There are about 5-10 people in the world who say nay. Everyone else is appalled at how Silas treats Sengun.

You - and apparently Clutch? - being some of the more moderate ones on the anti-Sengun side of the argument.

But there are a few very vocal haters of Sengun who are completely irrational - rocketchamp, Dobbizzle, bobbythegreat, maj21. They produce literally 1,000s of posts with all kinds of bogus arguments just to hate on Sengun. It's pretty bizarre.

Of course, there is also DD who flipflops on the issue.

    Oh, and Silas. **** Silas.

Sengun’s great. Maybe shouldn’t be starting though, if the goal is to maximize wins this season.

Does that make me pro Sengun or anti Sengun?

It makes you silly. We will always be better with Sengun on the floor than with him off the floor.

Fire Silas, hire a good coach with experience coaching a modern NBA big man. It will shut the haters up.

PER is a great indicator of good players. But most fans don’t look at stats outside of points, rebounds, assists and blocks (if they look at any at all).

On all these, Sengun is very good as well. What's holding him back is Silas, by denying him minutes and usage/the proper role.

That may be true, but that doesn’t in itself mean he should start. A starting 5 need not consist of the best players at each position.

Also, I don’t have a strong opinion one way or the other.

I think Sengun, Victor, and Jabari pair well together. I also think Porter as a starter and primary ball handler hurts Sengun's value.

Sengun also pairs well with Jalen.

The org is now putting rumours out that Sengun has bad work ethic, which is very hard to believe.

The team is talented. They don't know how to play the game. They routinely don't find their man when the other teams fast break or go at a quicker tempo. They don't find people to box out for rebounds.

Sengun is a stand out. He's fantastic. They are losing because of their inexperience and not because of players like Sengun

It's still a ton of AAU ball. Sengun is one of the only people out there playing organized, professional basketball, likely because of his years of experience in Turkey.

I have no doubt that once the team gels and starts to play team ball, which can be facilitated by Silas having more of an authoritative hand and a structured offense, that we will be very good. I think that's probably a year and a half to two years away.

In the meantime, I hope we get a top two pick.

I like to affectionately call the team the Bottle Rockets. Not sure if other people are using that or not, but I'll take credit if you want. Either way, in a year or so, once they're weaned off the bottle, I think they're going to start to be really good. Listening to opposing announcers, they're starting to recognize and call out the talent on the team.

    IDK, maybe?
