Silas needs to be fired for the way he treats Alperen Sengun

I’m more eye test than numbers. There’s too many other factors. Idc how if he close games. I’m just here to call out the SOF who pretend to be fans when they’re not. At the same time, they get mad at people for liking other players on the team. Sengun is not the type of player I like on a team, doesn’t mean he isn’t good. Kinda like how i don’t think a Lamar Jackson type QB can win it all. That’s just how I feel about Sengun, it’s just my opinion. I just want us to win, however it’s done

 

Eye test lies most of the time. Specially when you have a type of player you dislike.
People can have their favorites, but the rhetoric surrounding Alp isn’t true.
And I hate to break it to you but Rockets aren’t going to be winning real soon.
Even with Wemby, this team is going to take some time. They have to move away from Silas and KPJ leading the team for them to be successful too.

 

That’s fair.. I don’t believe in any player on this team right now as being a Batman. I don’t like Sengun as the 5, I don’t like KPJ as a PG, don’t like Jalen as a number one option. There’s room to grow to become those things, but I’m not crowning any of these guys yet. I’m not attached to any player, they can all go if that means we get better talent to win. I love the potential and some things I see, but ima wait and see. SOF are crowning this dude like he’s won 5 rings

 

Some of his fans are a bit much.

But……there’s no denying the numbers. Every metric has him as the best player on this team. People may not like it (for whatever biased reason they have) but it’s just facts.

 

The best player changes game to game imo. Sengun is the most efficient, which is no surprise. I’m just gonna wait and see. Next offseason is gonna be interesting. There’s a chance Silas is the coach next season, so there’s that ****

 

Sengun has been consistently the best player on the season.
The “coach” doesn’t like his play style. So he hammers an inefficient player in KPJ down our throats. Because he doesn’t know how to coach anything outside of some perceived “guard” whisperer plays.

There’s a few people on this board that incorrectly say the league is a guard dominant league. It’s not

 

I wish these guys wouldn't use twitter handles like NBA Stats Watch which makes him/her sound official, when in reality, he/she is just a Rockets fan.

Whatever their names are, the numbers are there for everyone to look up.
They are current, I looked them up before I posted.

 

People complain about Sengun's interior defense, but never seem to blame KPJ or Green (or any of the other perimeter defenders) for getting consistently blown by. Nor do they b**** about how we literally give teams a wide open three on what feels like every possession.

I'd love to see what Sengun looked like defensively on a team where he wasn't forced into helping on guards who blow by terrible perimeter defense.

 

the SOF clique getting unbearable here recently... Clutch should use the ban hammer ...

 

Silas better pray more than anyone that we get Wemby. Because outside of that, Sengun is here to stay and his lack of play time is going to get his ass fired.

How do we trade up to draft a player, that player performs well above his draft position, and he refuses to play him because of #reasons. Chop Shop said it a few weeks ago....I dont want to be that guy but getting the vibe Silas just doesn't like him. Where there's smoke there's fire.

 

Lol that's not really fair because a running qb has never won the superbowl but we've seen tons of post up players lead their teams to titles, though not recently.

 

it cant be silas only .....theres no incentive to win in nba almost for anybody...so the owners and everybody else just let it go and go about their ways...
no owner really cares about winning or playing bb the right way or filling the seats...

 

Posting statistics is fine and giving his opinion about it is fine, too. It's just I can do without the angsty language that goes with those stats in the tweet, about how "We are sick and tired" and "We are disgusted" etc.

If they want to go in that direction and "rail against the system," that's fine too. Whatever floats your boat.
But the least they can do is admit they're just a fan and not hide behind some basketball analytics sounding twitter handle.

 

Everyone, not just SOF's, are currently saying how Sengun is being disrespected on playback. uh oh.

 

I think folks sound disgusted with the organization more than anything
