I thought I'd make a thread for fantasy line-ups so it doesn't get confused with line-ups that could be realistically expected. 1B Abreu 2B Bregman 3B Correa SS Pena LF *Alvarez CF Trout RF *Tucker DH Altuve C Realmuto
Because my fantasy line-ups caused so many to feel tortured because they weren't likely. I just removed them from other threads. I'm a very caring guy.
I think the answer here is pretty obvious 1B Ted Williams, the WW2 lost years version 2B Babe Ruth, but now he’s a second basemen 3B Josh Gibson, but full-time in MLB and as a 3B SS Bonds, the skinny version and on speed LF Yordan. No notes. CF Pass. No need for a CFer in this lineup RF Michael Jordan, but good at baseball C Bonds, the big-headed version LHP Bagwell, converted to a lefty RHP Bonds again, but this time he’s a pitcher
Besides for Trout, the Astros will be able to field a lineup with as good or better hitters at the other positions.
1. Yordan LF 2. Yordan 1B (batting RH) 3. Yordan 2B 4. Mattress Mack DH (Switch hitter) 5. Yordan RF 6. Yordan 3B 7. Yordan C (batting RH) 8. Yordan SS 9. Dubon CF
Less Fantasy, but still Fantasy. Stick it to the Yankees Fantasy. 1. R 2B ALTUVE, Jose 5.1 2. R CF JUDGE, Aaron 10.6 3. L LF ALVAREZ, Yordan 6.8 4. R 3B BREGMAN, Alex 4.5 5. L RF TUCKER, Kyle 5.2 6. R OF MEYERS, Jake Now the Rotation which is not Fantasy, but likely. But it completes the above Fantasy Active Roster. SP1 L VALDEZ, Framber SP2 R JAVIER, Cristian SP3 R McCULLERS, Lance SP4 R GARCIA, Luis SP5 R BROWN, Hunter SP6 R URQUIDY, Jose CL R PRESSLY, Ryan RP1 R NERIS, Hector RP2 R MONTERO, Rafael RP3 R ABREU, Bryan RP4 R STANEK, Ryne RP5 R MATON, Phil RP6 R MARTINEZ, Seth Why it's not TOTAL FANTASY. Pivot from JV to Judge and add Contraras is possible, if not plausible.
Let's do this right: 1B Kelly Leak 2B Jose Aguilar (no cup needed for religious reasons) SS Kelly Leak Spoiler )3B Kelly Leak RF Kelly Leak CF Ahmad Abdul-Rahim LF Kelly Leak C Mike Engelberg (strictly to save Leak's knees) SP Joey Turner (don't dig in!) RP Rudy Stein 60 day DL: Amanda Wurlizter (elbow)
Fantasy because it counts on acquiring Contreras and Brantley returning to the Astros at pre injury levels. But not impossible L DH BRANTLEY, Michael 370 416 125 R 1B ABREU, Jose 378 446 133 L LF ALVAREZ, Yordan 406 613 187 R 2B ALTUVE, Jose 387 533 160 L RF TUCKER, Kyle 330 478 128 R C CONTRERAS, Willson 349 466 128 R 3B BREGMAN, Alex 366 454 133 R CF McCORMICK, Chas 332 407 110 R SS PEÑA, Jeremy 289 426 101
