    It’s honestly not fair to KPJ to ask him to be a point guard.

    Asking him to be responsible for making ACCURATE passes, control tempo, make the right reads, organize the offense etc. is not in his skillset. Whatever marginal improvements he makes in these areas are to the detriment of every one else’s development.

    Nobody gets better when we jog the ball up in transition. Nobody gets better when passes are thrown at guys feet. Nobody gets better when it takes 16 seconds to start the play.

    Let’s get a real veteran pg to help organize us and we can really see what we have. That includes evaluating KPJ as an off ball scorer.

    There’s nothing wrong with him playing to his strengths; spot up shooting and the occasional iso AFTER the initial action has been stifled.

    I don’t care when he gets “hot” after the we fall behind by double digits. It’s the patented “fake comeback”. How about we play the right way from jump and develop some good habits.
