The fact that there was some truth to the claim that Germans (not using the other word) were integral in the early development of America after the world war 2 with the space program, medicine, journalism, engineering, modern highway design, community planning and holiday traditions doesn't mean we should also be accepting of the evil caused by that faction because "they did some good things". Kanye is making this conversation more mainstream, and they all agree with his basic premise

I think they are using Kanye to deflect from themselves. "Hey we have a popular black guy saying all this crazy **** now. We can semi-denounce and accept his stuff at the same time. By showing a popular black guy is an anti-semitic Hitler lover we can deflect some of this away from ourselves."

I watched the interview. I think the difference between Fuentes and Kanye is Fuentes sounds sane. He says abhorrent, vile things, but it is also how he says it. Kanye was all over the place. From one minute to the next he jumped all over the place. He didn't make one cogent point or try to back up anything He was manic. Although wrong, Fuentes tries to present his illogical arguments in a logical way. I guess what I am trying to say is that one can look at Fuentes and say "This guy is ****ed up." You look at Kanye and say "This guy is ****ed up and sounds like he is off his meds." If that makes sense.

Kanye is definitely mentally ill…when he brought out that orange net and started rambling in a high pitched voice, he sounded absolutely insane

I’m almost expecting full blown psychosis soon

Kanye is like the crazy racist who’s yelling out the n-word and other rambling racist things, while Fuentes says stuff that is just as vile and even worse, but he’s not also mentally ill…the guy has literally gone from his mom’s basement to hanging out with Kanye and having dinner with a former president…he is getting more and more validated by the day
