Exactly. They can go at each other through the court. There is an outlet for them to seek any wrong they might feel. My two concerns are 1- Gov abuse for political wins (we are seeing this regularly now and it's concerning that this is now acceptable behavior). This is anti-speech by the gov. 2- Anti-competition by these large tech companies. I already proposed a solution to this - allow more appstore to exist on these HW platforms.
Why would Apple fear any of that. Way to make up scenarios that make no sense. Do Republicans/conservatives not buy apple products? Are they really going to stop buying apple because they don't have Twitter in the app store? None of this is a free speech issue because you can still load Twitter, they are not banning it on their phones completely. Do better O's.
House GOP just deleted their “Kanye. Elon. Trump” tweet they posted in October Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee deleted their Oct. 6 tweet that appeared supportive of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, after months of controversy over the rapper's antisemitic remarks. "Kanye. Elon. Trump," read the tweet, which held up the rapper alongside Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter who has been bringing back right-wing figures who were once banned, and former President Donald Trump. they sure were proud of that tweet when they posted it
GOP will try to distance themselves from Kanye now only because he is too mentally ill to speak in code and dog whistles u don’t say Jews, u say globalists…or hell, u just keep it simple and say “they” for peak plausible deniability u don’t explicitly say u like Hitler, u just associate yourself with neo-Nazis and come up with white replacement theory and other white supremacist talking points to try and marginalize the “other” Kanye is fcking up the game plan maybe things would be different if the midterms went well for them
As someone who has an Iphone, an Android tablet and multiple computers running Microsoft software I don't see a problem if one of them blocks an app. Also I don't have a twitter account and presumably if I did I could still access it through their website.
I think Apple blocking apps from their app store when there is only one way to install apps on their platform is a anti-trust issue. But ya this isn't a free speech issue.
I disagree. It was an act of selfish cowardice to not be held accountable for his actions and he murdered his partner in the process. It also allowed for conspiracy theories to spread that he escaped and was planing a 4th reich.
Stupid said “at least” so we know he probably has numerous other examples of great things he thinks Hitler did.
