There are some episodes that focus on the main character's pervertedness.

I watched the first 2 episodes of Chainsaw Man.. I want to feel the hype I really do, but why is this thing so popular? I feel like all this current anime has been really regular and that worries me about my fandom of anime.

Manga was super popular. It was good, too. This is higher quality art, too.

i disagree about the art. I think it's "technically" higher quality because they are tricking us using CG making it look hand drawn. I miss the 90's style of drawn anime. This new anime looks way too clean and sanitized. Feels like there is no texture in these shows.

Ok, 'cleaner' art, which I find more ascetically pleasing, personally.

It’s the story of chainsaw man that is the issue…. I like the animation… but it just seems like a story I’ve heard before.

I know nothing about the manga so maybe things start getting weird in a good way.

    I like HxH’s 1999 animation style a lot more than 2011

damn time flies.. 8 already!? I stopped watching after 2.

besides episode 8 how earth-shattering is this anime? I feel it hasn't reached the mainstream with all the hype.

Wow, they hit a new level with the storyline. I may have to get into the manga as well.

been thinking the same thing as well…there’s been 2 animes that made me check out their manga because I just couldn’t wait years for the anime to finally show what happens next, and they were AOT and JJK

Someone on here was talking about Spy X Family. Started watching it and really like it, it’s a nice change of pace.

I read the manga. It's top notch for the most part, but the fight scenes are a bit abstract with the black and white paneling. Hopefully they stay faithful to the source. The fact that they put a different outro makes me think the production staff also looked forward to get this animated

I'd recommend watching anime first for as long as you can wait.

I really enjoyed Cyberpunk Edgerunners. A good blend of action with emotional investment.

Don't remember the last time I finished a show/anime/movie where I said "well that ****ing sucks for xyz". Just sadness for everyone.

I was watching some YouTube videos on the music and someone described the genre best as "emotional damage."
