What a play: Loving the Green-Sengun-Jabari connection. They're making the game easier on KPJ too not having to carry the entire burden of running the offense and scoring a lot of points too. We would be better with KJ starting over Gordon I think. There are too many people who need shots in the starting line up and we could do with a little more of KJ's transition points, energy and hustle. Good enough shooter to keep our spacing good.
Great video. I think as it was the second night of a back-to-back, Silas leaned on the fresh legs of Sengun. Needless to say, Sengun dominated the OKC frontcourt and delivered with a monster of a game. 21 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists in 35 minutes. Wow.
I think KJ starting would help us out a ton in terms of shot distribution. As you said, we could use a starter that doesn’t crave shots and plays some defense. It would also be a useful way to assess our future needs on the defensive end. Kind of a waste with EG starting. Hard to tell how good/bad our starters are on defense without a proper SF.
We saw again last night that Alperen Sengun is as many of you say very unathletic and lacks the speed to compete in this level. As we all agree, all 19 rebounds just fell to his hands, all those assists and steals were pure luck. This 35 minutes were to increase his trade value of course. /sarcas
Has he been playing with an injury? He seems quicker and bouncier yesterday after multiple days rest.
AL- P -G hes the natural and utmost PG you constantly failing to update your bb acumen and understanding of the game get out of the box sometimes its suffocating in there its not 19th century anymore
lol one of the greatest losers of all times, a son of the greatest loser talking about sustained success?!?.... if he werent so freaking dumb id call him a flat out racist! @LeDakota
This is the key. At some point, the coaching staff has to realize that KPJ being the guy with the ball in his hands the majority of possessions is not the right move. Let him play off ball more and be a secondary creator with Green and Sengun running the offense on more possessions. If they made that one change, their offensive efficiency would improve dramatically. KPJ can work with Sengun, but not if he's dribbling the air out of the ball for 18 seconds every other possession.
That Turkish League MVP at 18 was also some sort of simple popularity contest won only by his good looks and charming personality, too.
probably because its too much to ask from a dumb coach , son of the greatest loser in nba history coaching on the worst team in nba for 3rd year straight do you even begin to realize these people robbed alpi blind of ROY honors to protect their vested interests?
Actually the MVP thing is greatly exaggerated; he was just nominated for employee of the month and was runner up at that. He got to take home a ribbon though.
