They act like we dont have another #1 and several more draft picks in other rnds to fill holes.

If we get another Top 10 pick this yr, Caserio can trade down to 15 and pickup another #2 pick and a #5 pick but you use that #1 overall to get a QB.

Not a "waste", but a misapplication of resources for the Texans

Stroud has been impressive, but when do we start the "tank for McCarthy in 2024" thread?

    Let’s wait until 2024. ;)
Roll a tank commander out one more year.

I agree unless of course some team offers up a monster package for that 1st pick.

Bryce Young is just too small. He’s TINY. Put him on any non-top 10 football team and no one would know who he is. NFL size and speed is a totally different ball game. He’s not a #1 overall pick. Not even close.

This is absolute crazy talk. He’s stood out at every single level of football that he’s played at. That doesn’t happen without talent. You sound like a girl that would blow off a millionaire because he’s not 6 foot tall. Utterly ridiculous.

NFL is another level, my guy. Size and arm strength are pre-requisites with very few exceptions. Very few.

His arm strength is better than Davis Mills. Size is not a prerequisite for being a qb. It’s preferred, but talent trumps size.

The question is not whether Bryce Young is better than Davis Mills (who was a third round pick). That’s a common mistake by fans. The question is whether he is worth the coveted #1 pick overall in the draft. He’s not. He’s too small.

I don’t like Bill O’ Brien, but he’s been with Tom Brady and Deshaun Watson. If he thinks Bryce is a special qb, he certainly knows better than you.

Bill O’Brien’s decision making turned the Texans into the worst team in the league. Please quit while you’re behind.

Maybe, just maybe, Bill O'Brien knew what he was doing?
