True but everyone saw his priceless face when Harden started his vacation mode shortly before the season and got traded.
If the rockets draft 3rd it’s a pretty tough position. First two picks are on auto draft. Then you are supposed to figure out who the third best player is supposed to be. Hmmm
He's 6'2 but has a 6'9 wingspan and is a freak athlete. He also looks like a skilled competitor and a veteran at 18 years old. He'll grow as a player and perhaps physically as well. I wouldn't hesitate to draft him along with Wemby.
I thought it was fairly creative and funny, yes. Just tired of folks pining for players for next year when we are 18 games into this year. DD
What's interesting is Scoot came out as the true winner of that game both literally and by enhancing his stock. Wemby was extremely impressive and an alien prospect not seen since LeBron, but people kind of already knew that. Scoot showed a fire and level of talent that would make him a #1 pick in many drafts, which some people hadn't fully appreciated until they played. It also trips me out Scoot at 6'2 was giving up a foot and two inches to Wemby, but had more boards than Victor that game.
Halfway through this article, holy sh*t this kid's mentality is amazing. If he plays like he's projecting he thinks long-term, he's going to be a beast and part of me wants to draft him over Wemby. I can't, but I definitely have the thought lol. Look at this 18-year-old kid leading a 35-point turnaround win with his scoring, defense and passing.
What specifically did Silas do for Luka in Dallas, that Harden did not already do for himself at that point in Houston?
