Have you been watching this season? He's a garbage PG and a when a SG, very erratic.

Everytime he touches the ball, I cringe.

 

10 assists tonight....great.

A PG manages the flow of the offense and creates for his scorers. Looking at the overall season, he hasn't done that.

 

I see Gary's son came to play tonight.

 

Can we get Garry Bird highlights? Maybe a charge or the Jesus tattoo after hitting a shot?

 

Yeah that sounds more like emotional problems than anything related to what actually happens on the court.

I usually ignore your awesome insights, but now I'll go back to ignoring it.

 

I didn’t see the game…but I did see the box score and Nix’s 2:2 assist to turnover ratio…which is a trend. Not trying to hate on him given the positive team performance; he did get 2 steals. But man.

 

WOW what an *******. Where was the sportsmanship tech?

Ironically just a few days ago I was thinking about how rare it is for anyone on the team to get 10 assists.

Obviously it's because of our extremely versatile, complex and balanced offensive scheme.

He creates a lot of shots for other players, but that isn't how our offence runs. Jalen and him take it in turns in starting the offence when at the top of the three. You are thinking of a quarterback PG like Luka who has the ball the whole time. KPJ has created 12+ assist chances on average this season. That is pretty good at a usage rate of only 25.5. Jalen Green has the highest usage rate of 26 on the team. If KPJ had better shooters around him, he would average at least 8apg. Luka has a usage rate of 37 and only averages 4 more potential assists than KPJ. There are not many pure point guards in the comp anymore. the comp is full of combo guards and we have two of them.

 

You can trade him, just not for someone like Kuminga.

I'm not one of the people that says that you should only trade him for a superstar, but I do think he adds value to this team higher than what his stats show.
