Yes, probably safe, but not definitely ;).

Outside of I don't take anything Musk tweets at face value anymore, that graph is literally a 1M snapshot. Some 3rd party has collected data that showed hateful speech is more prominent now (through mid-Nov I think --- one of the conclusions was ppl might be "testing" the system so the number can't be completely trusted). But whatever, those are all short timeframes. We will get a better picture when we have at least 3-6M of data. And as a capitalist measure, watch what the advertisers do to get a sense of return to normalcy or some new normal.

Musk was tweeting fun at Bill Gates for shorting TSLA: hypocrite for him to short TSLA while supporting actions against global warming. Some of us here point out it's just an investment strategy and you can't read anything else into that. As an investment, Bill Gates was smart to short TSLA.

All true. Also hypocritical of Musk to call out people for shorting TSLA when Musk sold so many shares. It's like he's deflecting. Musk also lied about not continuing to sell more TSLA stock during the Twitter acquisition. Elon's brother also sold stock. And his dad yam'd his sis or whatever. So. GOOD LUCK

Again. He did not pay peak price. He paid a premium. I understand you don't get it. He paid well over peak price.

Do I need to dig out posts with a couple of ya saying his offer was a low ball offer?

No, Twitter was not happy to sell at that price. You are completely cherry picking the details.

Is Elon Musk a technical genius in terms of the workings of rocket science or advancements in research foe lithium ion batteries as examples? Or a genius in terms of charisma and pandering?

So much for "Freedom of Speech" I hope the people that stood for absolute free speech speak out for these people.

Incitement to violence results in account suspension as it violates TOS, and yet he says Trump should never have been suspended.

Looks like there may be a grey area on what counts as incitement to violence. Is it just up to Musk to make that judgment call?

Yep, it's up to him which means there will be a massive bias for anyone that gets banned. There were a lot of bigger right wing accounts that pretty plainly said those gay people had it coming after the recent shooting.

If you recall he said there wouldn't be any major suspensions or reinstatements until he had a content moderation team in place but he's done the exact opposite of what he said he'd do.

I guess the free speech absolutists only care about protecting free speech if you get to gay people groomers and pedophiles and tell Trans people they shouldn't exist.
