KPJ is a legit NBA player who will average 20 points, 6 rebounds a night and play good defense on the opponent’s best player. We should keep him if can handle his attitude problem, but he not….not, not, not a point guard. Let him play Small Forward and get a veteran point guard to help develop our young players. Martin and Porter does not need much help they just need minutes. He need a veteran point guard to help our building blocks.

Porter played well the last game, because he played like a wing or SF not a point guard. He was catch and shooting, pick and roll and mainly iso. Minimal assist, we was working on defense, scoring and rebounding

 

Which is what his position is. Not sure why people want to make him a PG

Very good article about KPJ getting better both on and off the court and is one of only 10 players in the league averaging 19-6-5.

There’s no real evidence of him becoming a good point guard. There is evidence that he’s continuing to develop into a good player. And frankly that’s enough for me. I’m sold on KPJ the player, but not the point guard. I’m just gonna have to accept the fact that we are going to be rudderless on offense and will make it really hard for Jabari his first year.

 

no offense to Lachard, who I really like, but these small sample size stats are a joke. Going back all the way to 2020, people keep throwing out 4-game stats or other short sample sizes ti justify progress. Give me half a season’s worth of evidence to show progress, at least. Come on. We are grasping at straws here.

yes KPJ has progressed. I’m a fan of his game. And of course the point guard debate is irrelevant if u are looking long term at KPJ as a good player. He’s not a point guard. We don’t have an alternative. He’s playing as well as he can out of position. And he’s absolutely a cornerstone chip for our rebuilding team.

but enough with the small sample size stats. It’s getting ridiculous.

 

Wait till they post something like X-player is one of only 3 players 22 or younger who average at least 20 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds last week.
