If you were able, you would understand that it was OK at 70s-80s to play against to Euros. When Euros start to beat NBAs they stopped?

You actually think any international team would stand a chance with a focused NBA team and have the audacity to scream about education? LOL

At this point, these are the main Rocket objectives to a successful season:
1. Secure a top three pick.
2. Develop and FEATURE Jabari and Tari
3. See if Jalen is going to be the GUY. - Everyone knows he is not a two way player.

 

I like usman's energy as well but I wonder if the team would be stronger if usman kept switching between 4&5 spots.

I agree, AL P didnt have thr best game of the season. In fact, scoring wise, this was his worst game. However, should AL P's minutes be given to Usman based on a couple of bad games? I don't think so. AL P needs playing time as much as usman or other guys in the team to develop.

Albeit an elite defender, I don't see usman scoring 20 points on a regular basis He is just not cut that way. I see him a solid 2 defensive 4 tho.

 

Alperen Sengun with a groin injury and icing knee bandage on his right knee while sitting on the bench the last 5 minutes is concerning. Alperen should sit out some games. He goes all out every game. He needs rest and doesnt looks like he sleeps much.

 

On the Garuba thread we had to read "any G League team could beat the Euro League champs". And now we have to read "NBA teams are scared of playing real men". Guess european are hiding this so called real men for Worlds and the Olympics.

Two extremes of the same idea I guess.

 

The NO defense in the first quarter was probably the wrong strategy.

KPJ played a good game but you do realize he was guarding Klay the majority of the first quarter when Klay scored 20 points. I would hardly say he played any defense last night.

NBA champs against Euro champs, 3 games : NBA 2- Euro 1, last game Euro win, no more encounter.
NBA team against Euro teams between 2013-16: 12 games NBA 7-Euro 5, the last to games Euro wins, no more games.

Opinion is cheap, facts&figures hard/expensive.

There is rumour Real madrid or Barcelona will play against an NBA team next year. If anyone wants to call NBA winner as "the world champion", they have to deserve before calling.If NBA champions play against Euro champs 75% they might win but not every other year.No way.

In soccer there is intercontinental cup, played between continents champs, Europe,Americas, Asia,Africa.You can't just name A Brazilian or German team as world champion because they won local league.

If NBA brave enough, man enough, they can start to play against Euros also, not only against Aussies, Shanghai, MiddleEastern, Latin Americans.

yanis 2 times mvp , nba champion and finals mvp never did anything in europe and hes unstoppable in NBA...somethings fishy here...
a lot of nba talent imho is a refs creation
