Obviously, but this era of Rockets ownership hasn't shown the ability to produce either of those things.

In a Silas vs a worn slipper poll, I'd choose the slipper.

    Bruh. Bruuuuuh.

They had Tatum, a 24 year old top-10 player. They had Smart, a literal DPoY. They had Brown, who is perfect as a second banana but could probably be the first option on a championship team. They had Williams, another player who is one of the best defenders in the league. They had Horford, who provides strong veteran leadership.

Obviously, we're hoping Green and Eason can be Tatum and Brown. We're hoping Jabari can be as disruptive on defense as Smart and Williams. We're looking to trade away our most veteran guy in Gordon.

Point is, we don't have a Tatum, Smart, Brown, Williams nor Horford. Hiring Ime Udoka won't put us over any sort of hump.

Am I the only person who feels it weird that people treated Ime like he killed someone because he had an affair? Its just strange. You know how many dudes in the NBA cheat on the regular basis? Dwight has a billion kids with different women its just highly hypocritical.

We still don't really know what he did. If all he did was have an affair, then as far as i'm concerned he did absolutely nothing and should get back anything he lost for a bogus suspension. It seems that there was a lot more involved though, that we don't know

Yes we do. The Celts org did an investigation, he didnt do anything but have an affair with someone in the orgs wife. Yeah thats not a good look but to act like he moslested or killed someone is just strange to me. What Draymond and Kyrie did were worse but they virtually got nothing just my opionion.

If all he did was have an affair then i agree with you 100%, he should have gotten zero punishment. Nothing happened to Draymond because the warriors are devoid of all morality and a sense of right and wrong, so that's a poor example

udoka will at least play these guys decent minutes so that we dont have to hope and we can at least know if they are any good or not....

with silas and stone everything is left to hoping...2 sloppy and lazy sobs

    I.D.I.O.T.

silas wont give eason minutes....just like he did with alpi... hes punishing the great play and rewarding incompetence... stop defending this clown and stop defending tank...

thank is equal to quitting and losing...

    and

    1. you aint getting nothing with tank except just a higher pick...it doesnt mean you will select the better player...its a superstition

    2. and you lose everything else by tanking including picks

    3. because you get nothing in trades or far less for your vets when team has bad record/plays bad...

    4. plus the players you draft with the picks are rotting in the culture of defeatism...

only casuals can support tanking...tank gives you no advantage...

all of the top 50 or even 100 players in the draft are equally talented...its just a matter of opportunity playing time, environment and hard work... AND LUCK/ circumstances

take any of the 50 guys... with the right work coaching and opportunity, with love and inspiration, anyone can be the best pick in the draft...it doesnt matter what is "consensus"...

to believe the 16th guy in the drafted is less talented than 5th is an utter nonsense, lack of critical thinking, knowledge of history, and lack of use of waste resources available in 21th century...

list of top 30 players in NBA is fluid, it fluctuates from year to year..why believe then at age of 18 its set in stone?

    IT IS NONSENSE PAREXCELLANS!

I don't think Tillman is smart enough to hire Udoka if he were willing to come here.

to believe the 16th guy in the drafted is less talented than 5th is an utter nonsense.... it means trusting to public opinion which is most often wrong than not...and it means things are set in stone, and life aint like that buddy...

list of top 30 players in nba is fluid, it fluctuates from year to year..why believe then at age of 18 its set in stone?

take whoever and inspire him, teach him, coach him, to become the best...and that is the beauty of it...its not fun winning the ring if the game is rigged for you to win...meaning of sport is fighting against the odds...if the win is given you on the golden platter it doesnt tastes good...tank is a negation of sports

so take whoever youngster and make him a player...if you cant youre not really a bb coach...

yes and sincerely its hard to believe silas is that dumb or incompetent...it gotta be higher powers/politics at play...but whatever sometimes firing a good coach can have positive effect by giving you a fresh start....

    but heres the thing
with nba coaches you have to ask the question why should i keep him?

not why should i fire him?...

its only 1 coach for the entire organization/culture and he has to be superb at his job not to fire him...

this is not charity organization where an average coach should get a fair(lol) chance to show what he has in the bag....especially when its pretty clear to everyone THERES ABLOSUTELY NOTHING IN THE BAG ... silas has nothing...

nobodys asking for silasses head because he is losing...i can live with 0-82 season and will watch games if there is work and effort and competency and not sitting your best players in order for teacher pets to flourish or to lose games on purpose...
WHAT KIND OF MORON HAS ALPI AND PLAYS HIM 6 MINUTES A NIGHT? and not make him a hub of his offense?

You guys can keep spamming the forums with your temper tantrums, but its not going to change anything.

The Rockets are fine and are on track with their plan.

If you keep losing Jabari and Jalen are going to leave. There is no loyalty anymore, these guys get together and recruit each other to make a super team I can see Jabari going to Atlanta,(his home town) and Jalen who is from California and who loves the limelight…and the biggest lights in the NBA are the Lakers. You should have learned what Harden did, no loyalty, people will leave if you cannot win.

Do you think free agents are going to trip over themselves wanting to play for Houston. Westbrook and Harden left because they did not believe and did not want to play for Silas. The national media thinks Rockets are a joke. Many analyst thought the Pistons would make the play-in, but they are losing now because CADE is hurt, he might need surgery. Magic is a terrible franchise and at the last minute lucked up and took a Franchise Player(Bancheros). We have the worst defense in the NBA, but we have A+ defenders such as Jabari, Tari and Garuba. We have two of the most athletic players in the NBA, in Jalen and Martin who could be great defender

What did harden do? He spent his best years here and once the team stopped being competitive, he was able to get us a massive trade package to rebuild the franchise. We are FAR better off now then had he stayed and we were trying to add vets to win 48 games a year
