#1 if he came out now? 13 games in a season with the tar heels and he’s now the best because he looks the part. Haven’t heard this before haha. I’m kidding, just funny how some of these similarities can be. I think Maye could be great. I just don’t trust a year from now. Plus I also think Young can be great.. guess we’ll see.

Multiple scouts have came out and said Maye would be number one in this draft.

Browns tied for second worst record in league. Raiders just won. Houston needs to go for it against Cleveland and potentially set yourself up for a 1/2 pick in the draft scenario. Anderson and Young would be nuts.

Those 5'10 QB's have a history of being great.

    Says nobody

Drew Brees seemed tiny, and he was about only 6 feet tall. Yeah, it's rare for guys under 6' or under to accomplish much against the big NFL defenders.

I agree Rattler is a perfect example of why you do not wait, because no one knows what will happen NEXT YEAR! Injury, regression, etc., we just do not know.

And for people to compare Maye to Justin Herbert is not saying much, he still hasn't played in one single playoff game and even during the season he can not win the big games. To me, Bryce Young is a flat out winner, you see it on and off the field.

Exactly and posters want to gamble that Young is another 1in a million guy. SMH

I don't want him. He's too fragile for my liking.

    Maye's style is like Herbert's.

They aren't the same players. Maybe checks all of the boxes though.

This is where I'm at, especially if we can get that CLE pick to stay in the Top 10 or better. However, besides Anderson, I believe Carter is going to grade out pretty close to a Top 3 pick. If we could get the teams excited about Stroud in the Top 5 to offer us a trade would you do it? I think I would especially if we get another #1 pick in 2024 or 2nd+ this year. I would love to come out this draft with either Anderson or Carter, a QB (Young or even Levis) and extra draft capital.

In an alternative world, if we could get Anderson and Carter, I think our defense (with new coordinator) makes a jump next year.

Stop it. Herbert is a top 3 QB, claiming you wouldn’t want the “next Herbert” for Young is stupid. It shows your bias

Give me the last paragraph of your post and add Da'Ron Payne in FA. Then sign Devin Bush in FA and the defense will have a bright future. Spend the rest of the draft on the offense. WR/TE/OL and draft a QB in 2024.

You're crazy. You'll hope that Young can survive to be on same level as Herbert in the NFL level.

Sam Howell was getting #1 overall talk going into his junior year. Will Levis was getting Top 5 talk just a few weeks ago. Things can change so dramatically and so quickly.

People need to stop listening to this guy when it comes to height. We can easily look up Drew Brees height at his combine and he was 6 ft. Completely unnecessary to fudge numbers just to bolster your point and it makes every other piece of information you share subject to more scrutiny.

Brees measures in at the combine at 6’ 3/8 - 6’1 depending on which publication prints it.
    He wasn’t below 6’

Don’t get salty because you like a QB that’s the same height as Saban

6’ 3/8 - 6’ 1 at the combine is what is listed. Either way it’s both over 6’

Like I told Gucci, don’t get mad because your favorite QB is same height as Saban
