Is Silas really to blame or is our roster simply not that good?

Furthermore, a coaching staff that benches Sengun for Nix when Sengun whether good or bad needs end of game valuable experience are a bunch of morons (led by that Muhammad guy who’s forcing weak coach Silas to play his boy Nix).

So you basically went the opposite route and talked about the small (at this very moment) picture, which is all g

Barnes n Mobley are D anchors for most part

If Halliburton was all that (franchise) he wouldn't have been shipped away before rookie deal was up, Mathurin is decent but nobody was breaking the draft bank to move up to acquire him

Banchero was pegged to go to Rockets until Magic bumped their head and got wise on draft day so it was between Smith / Ivey / Murray etc

Super young teams are usually at the bottom, the one off top was the KD led Thunder that sucked his first couple or so years but KD was still that young stud

You could do a breakdown for every team and could come up with the same conclusion outside of those contenders who have seasoned vets who became all nba/star caliber players, it is what it be

You must not listen to SIlas's interviews. He literally stated last year that we get stagnant when he runs his system so he literally just rolls the ball out.

Both. We have a bunch of young kids out there with zero leadership. The results are predictable. What's upsetting is none of the players are improving at the rate you'd expect them too with so much playing time and long leashes. That's on the coaches.

You would do well to listen to his interviews and then you'll gain an understanding of why people know in fact he is a bad coach. He says things like Sengun posting up is a bad play. Kpj doesnt have the ball enough. Nix is a better ballhandler than Jalen so either Gordon or Nix have to be on the floor with him at all times when KPJ isnt lol Its really a cornucopia of stupid lol

I'm saying our rebuild is not "ahead of schedule" like @Mathloom is saying.

It's at or behind schedule at this point unless Jabari Smith hits - and a lot of the wounds are self-inflicted.

Which corroborates the roster issue..... Silas rolls the ball out and somehow the players just instinctively go for the most efficient shots? No.

Not true, he took 17 shots in the season opener and there wasn't a Hawk in sight for most of them

I never said, implied or meant that, and you've put it between quotations here.

Well especially last these players were 19 - 20 years old. The leadership they gave them is a Malcontent 2 or 3 playing point guard. They are aimless. They have talent but they are young and lack leadership that coaching is supposed to provide. When you look at the Spurs they are very young but they play fundamental basketball.

The rebuild just started basically with Green pick and now is going on it's current 2nd year with Smith pick

usually when you go full tear down rebuild it takes 3 high picks that you hope pan out inclusive with other trade/free agent targets once you get the core high picks in tow

and when your fanbase is not use to those type of full blown rebuilds you will get all types of different scenarios from those said fanatics where some are more extreme/modest than others

like some will think this is year 3 of the rebuild when that is not the case, the upcoming Wemby/Scoot draft will be the start of year 3, while those optimistic hope Green will reach a higher level and Jabari will be improved with the other 1st round picks of the Green/Smith group also show growth

i was just replying to what you had wrote in your reply about the current Rockets players and the other players from diff. teams, regardless of what Mathloom or whatever other user views are, respectfully

That's true your hyperbole is way more ridiculous

The big picture is: things are going great for the Rockets young players. If they continue their progression at this pace, we will have 1 franchise player, one all star level player and one super role player in a single draft. That's mind-blowingly successful and if you can't see this then a rational discussion cannot be had with you.
    "Mind-blowingly successful "- i don't even have a punch line for this

You don't have a punch line for anything.

I'm just telling you you're misquoting me and that I don't believe what you quoted me as saying. That I believe things are going great does not mean we are ahead of schedule.

Well of course it's not because he takes like 1 3 per game. That particular shot is not gonna influence the rankings of our shot quality a whole lot.

Your ignoring posts by @Corrosion showing that we have in fact been getting good looks, our players are just failing to execute. Not only that, If a team is missing wide open 3s, there is not really much you can do to have good offense in this league. Jabari has gotten a ton of great looks this season as well.

I think Stone is definitely playing with fire tanking this obviously. I think tanking this much can get ppl fired unfairly. Fernando shouldn't even be held out this long
