Hell, he shouldn't be here next week. These players don't care. It seems like Lovie doesn't either. This team is literally just going through the motions. We have to put a team on the field, I guess. Have to play the games, I guess.
Whatever reasoning for going the Culley-Lovie route instead of going after legit HC candidates, it obviously hasn't worked. I kind of get wanting a "transitional" coach until we can unload all the bad contracts and get some young talent in here, but this coaching staff is actively hurting the development of the young players we do have and and we're somehow farther away from turning things around than when we began. This may be the the worst Texans team ever. Every aspect is atrocious, offense, defense, coaching, front office, ownership. Dumb decision after dumb decision. Hard to believe there are enough competent people in the building to actually turn the corner.
Completely agree. And I don't think there's any debate about the worst team ever. This is it. Possibly by far.
