He really needs to fix this. I called him out for it early in the thread, if I remember right. Edit: not early in the thread, but August 28th.
Shocker the two guys I wanted rather than Green (Hamilton and Linderbaum) are looking great. Hopefully Kenyon continues to improve and stops committing game changing penalties.
Green looked very good until he got hurt. He shouldn't be playing now, but they don't have anybody better.
I’m honestly not worried. Last two games, he’s gone up against some of the best in the league. He’s a rookie. He’ll be fine.
He'll be fine. Brown would get subbed out when it was a pass play his rookie year. You do worry about a losing culture. 2008/2009 Texans was nothing like this horror show.
Will he be fine? He’s looked really bad at times. PFF has him at 42.2. Zion Johnson who was drafted a few spots later is almost 20 points higher. If they are going to keep Stingley in zone they would have been better off drafting Ekwonu and Jordan Davis.
I also think we have a horrible coaching staff so…maybe I’m wrong. We need to clean house. Everyone must go!
Again, Not every player is ready to play at an elite level. Some take time. He needs a full off-season. He will get stronger, his technique will get better.
Of course. We can draft all these talented guys, but we're definitely not developing them. Problem is, the same guy that is drafting them hired two staffs that we're utter failures. Especially in the player development category.
I wanted Zion and agree on Stingley. I'm not down on either, rookie woes for Green. Stingley would be doing great with the Jets.
