If Usman Garuba develops a reliable 3 point shot along with his passing, he will become a successful player for many years.
    Go Garuba! Go Houston Rockets!

Tank or no tank, I will accept any and all victories over Dallas.

It was the right read albeit a little off. I actually don’t mind this one. That’s what I want to see from him. Make the right read and pass to open teammates, instead of dribbling with head down then jacking up a tough shot in front of a wall of defenders.

i think it is more about managing their cap, attracting the right free agents, and also having the assets necessary to even make a trade for a star. Even when stars are disgruntled, its usually a trade and not someone signing as a FA, they dont have any assets either. If there was no Cap, I am sure they would not have let Brunson leave over money, because that is what happened. There are very few owners in this league that would not spend on getting the right guys, its the mediocre players that not everyone is willing to spend on, and those are usually smarter teams. Money in the NBA is not really relevant unless you find yourself with 3-4 stars who all need max money like the Warriors and have to go way over the cap, getting to that point is an achievement on its own. I don't see a path to the Mavs having even 2 more all-stars though, unless they get desperate and take a risk on Kyrie which I think is possible. If Luka is upset, they may start to get a little desperate.

Just saying if Sengun wasn't fouled it would have been a dunk. That was clearly a play they had practiced a lot.

I didn't see the game, but it looks like Garuba was really terrific.

Kidd did the right thing to give a Luka a rest that is much needed in my opinion. Maybe he thought the Mavs may NOT be the worst team even without Luka, and he was proven wrong.

    The Rockets aren't winning anyhow.

Let's see what the young guys can do.

would you rather have EGO get 30 minutes a night or see what Nix and/or TyTy could do with 15 or more minutes of burn?

keep in mind they lose games in either scenario

Just funny how people think TyTy is gonna save us lol. He needs to get reps with the vipers, then bring him up later in the season. That’s what they did with KJ and it helped him out a ton

I don't think anyone currently in the organisation is saving us this season lol.

As long as we are in Tank Mode, might as well play our young guys and lose with them. Playing Eric Gordon is doing nothing for our win/loss record anyway, might as well use the minutes to see what the young prospects can do with some consistent reps. It gives them a chance to slow the game down a bit and get settled. We are losing either way.
