I admit that I know this name but I can't for the life of me say who it is or what they look like. It's one of the toiletpaper USA guys right?
Very forgettable looking. I think the most important thing is he doesn't look like an inbred neckbeard, which probably makes him appear uniquely qualified among his peer group. He affects a more "accademic" scholarly demeanor which makes him popular among incels with a pretense of culture and learning.
Interesting article on the whole drug ordeal. https://newrepublic.com/article/156829/happened-jordan-peterson

The Data Show Twitter Is Far From Dying https://www.realclearwire.com/artic...ta_show_twitter_is_far_from_dying_148523.html excerpt: Twitter is increasingly an echo chamber for elite voices. Of 400 million tweets sent each day, more than half are merely retweets. Nearly 80% mention another user, but just over 20% are in the form of replies to another user. In essence, the Twitter that Elon Musk purchased is an echo chamber of a small group of elites to whom hundreds of millions of non-elites listen, amplify, and shout at into the void in the vain hope that they, too, will achieve viral fame. It is no wonder that the world of journalists, politicians, and celebrities is so concerned with Musk’s takeover: Twitter is far from being a public square where the citizens of democracy debate the future with equal voice. It is merely a traditional broadcast medium with a modicum of viewer feedback to make the plebians feel that they are being heard. Musk is now the loudest voice, and he can change the rules as he wishes. At the same time, Musk’s promised transparency seems further away than ever, with key decisions being made at times on a whim around a kitchen table. In place of an open and deliberative moderation body drawing from across society, Musk has emphasized that he alone will decide what is allowable and that his decisions can be as simple as his own personal sensitivities. On the other hand, more critical reporting about the platform is leading to greater insights into how it formerly functioned, including the role of activist groups working with the company to quietly and “routinely” take down hate-speech posts. Moreover, the journalism world that long dismissed content moderation as a straightforward task with clear answers is now confronting for the first time the massive complexities and tradeoffs that it entails. more at the link
But does Elon want to turn a profit….and if so, how will he achieve that? No mention of that in the article… The fact that you and others are being smug that Twitter didn’t cease to exist about month later is pretty telling about the current state.
Good lord, what a strange read. A long stint in a Russian hospital, including a period in a coma, and he comes back to North America full of right-wing vim and vigor. LOL, nothing shady here. Dude could be like the Winter Soldier of incel web. Definitely will need his newsletter and his recommended Jungian archetypes for the road ahead. And from dude's self-help book: “No one gets away with anything, ever, so take responsibility for your own life,” Um, yes. Yes, people get away with things all the time; most of these threads are about people getting away with things. Doing terrible or even criminal things with no real consequences. Shouldn't judge a book based on one line, but sheesh. Maybe people in Alberta never get away with anything, ever. But in Russia, well... uncle Pootie could teach him a few things... and maybe he did. Just need to figure out the code word during one of his book readings.
