Get rid of Eric Gordon and this team will be better.

    Sure it won't be a great team, but getting rid of EGo allows us to bring in an energy or contrasting player to Green and Kevin.

    Eason or KMJ would be a massive help to our offense and defense they are both right sized and both bring energy and movement to the starters.

    Honestly, holding onto EGo has been a major red mark on Stone....IMHO, they should bench him now until he is traded.

    He has been great, teams know what he can do, let's run with the young guns and coach them up, rather than watch EGo hog the ball, complain about others doing exactly what he does and standing around 30 feet away and launching.

    Time for him to go - NOW !

    They do need to trade EG, but I don't think they get better by doing it.

    We will get a late first round pick so doubtful it makes an impact. We definitely should trade him and he serves no purpose on the roster

    He should’ve been traded last year for the first round pick if the rumors were true. Ain’t nobody giving up a first round pick for Gordon now.

    They tried to trade EG two days ago: Gordon was going to Phoenix, Crowder going to the Bucks and we would receive Grayson Allen but we needed more players to come Houston because of Gordon’s salary. We did not want Shamet or Saric from Phoenix because we could not dump there salary this year. We need to trade Gordon for a veteran point guard to help with our development. Gordon do not care about these players or how they play…he is ready to go

    Addition by subtraction he can't guard larger SFs doesn't rebound well, doesn't pass well, he is a good offensive threat, maybe as 6th man, but he is in the way of this team getting better, IMHO.

    It lets the starters get better on both ends.

    What veteran PG would want to come to the worst team in the league? I mean honestly, it would be nice but none of those vets are gonna want to mentor a bunch of 20 year olds.....we need to drop that dream right away, that would quickly become a cancerous situation.

    Yeah, it's completely pointless for EGo to take away minutes now. Silas will still probably find a way to mess it up.

    New coach then new PG and the team will be where everyone expected them to be this year. Still lotto team but not that far out of play in. All though Jabari was a big piece of our expectations to get us there and his trash play isn't the coach's fault.

    Short term, we probably will become even worst. Long term it will pay off, we need mins for our youngsters but Eric Gordon is just taking up mins and shots that could b distributed to our youngster.
