Frisch anticipates that Boebert will not change her behavior over the next two years. Given that the Rs control the House, Boebert's behavior may get worse. After another two years of poor service to her district, Boebert may be more vulnerable.

And for the next time, the national Ds will inject serious $$$ (as will the national Rs). This should be a very close race in 2024.

Oh yeah - I think it totally makes sense for him to run again. I just thought it was odd he had already declared and filed paperwork even before he had conceded this race.

Not me. I don't vote for criminals, psychopaths, grifters, dumbasses, egomaniacs, compulsive liars, or Traitors. Trump ticks all those boxes, so it's a hard no for me.

I understand. If I had those high standards, I would never vote either.

That is odd. I was wondering what happen to the *automatic manual* recount now that he conceded. As expected, "according to Colorado law, if the difference between the two vote counts is equal to, or less than 0.5%, an automatic recount is mandatory". Unless it goes above 0.5% after everything is counted in the initial final tally, it will proceed to a recount. Now, what would happen if somehow the very unlikely happen - Frisch was indeed the winner after the count?

Concessions are just politeness - he'd be declared the winner by the SoS and have the right to the seat in that scenario. So he could either take it or resign, in which case the seat would just be empty until another election. But if he's declared the winner in the recount, Boebert wouldn't be in that seat.

I didn't say I wouldn't vote. I'm saying nobody running could possibly tick ALL those boxes. I will vote for whoever runs against Trump. Trump should be in prison or a psych ward. I'd prefer anyone who didn't check any of those boxes, but that's nearly impossible with politicians.

I would guess there could easily be 30 million Americans who are better candidates then Trump.

The Republican party loves voter suppression.

Block Sat voting saying they have to, it's the law. Judge ordered GA to permit early voting. They filed a petition and lost that too. They then filed an emergency petition to the GA Supreme Court. GA Supreme Court denied the stay request unanimously.

Unless they appeal that to the SC and win, GA will have Sat voting.

If Frisch doesn't take the seat couldn't the Gov. of CO choose someone to fill the seat until the next election?

I think in House elections, seats just are unfilled until a special election? I'm not positive though. I know with the Senate, the Gov appts a replacement, but I thought House seats just are vacant.

I take it Fox News didn't quote this segment of Bill Maher.
