That's the sneaky Corey Brewer trait shining through at the wrong time.. Gonna happen alot as he presses to make an immediate impact, which is sad that he has to think as such..

'I know that hiring me will piss off our best player and former MVP James Harden but I made Luka into a star" Luka ofcourse heaped praises on him but people need to learn that the NBA is political and sports stars say great things about people who are garbage at their jobs all the damn time.

I actually think Silas' offense work but...It's going to work on a vet team that is completely bought in to winning and doing what it takes

not going to happen with a bunch of young players still trying to prove themselves on a team with 3 wins where they are all probably chasing numbers.

Having this free flowing nice guy thing works if you are a vet team led by Lebron or Kobe or Garnett or something, another player that's going to make sure other players are held accountable...

Not going to work with this team though. Just not going to happen.

He never has any answers during the game, can't expect him to have any afterwards. He's going to struggle to get another job after this and for good reason. Just a historically bad coach, close to the worst ever

Then, he is not the right coach of this team. The coach is the easiest moving part, if we can't replace the player, we got to replace the coach.

    Does he?

He sucked in finishing at the rim in college (apparently according to #s) and....he still does

    small sample size warning coach!...

memeber these guys are accustomed and used to (2nd year in a row now) KPJ to beat the **** out of the ball pounding it and fancy dribbling it around for 48 minutes...they are deadened by it by now...cant expect suddenly to find their strength in one game he is missing...

you just hate sengun and using every opportunity to **** on him....and you juts put some names around him to cover it....
I see tru your act hater!

every basketball analyst in this country loves sengun... especialy the nerds and statistics lovers....

sengun was tortured by silas... benched.... denied of roy... played 12 or 6 minutes a night...

you expect him to play inspired now? LOL

give sengun the ball for a year then we shall speak...

No y’all saw it. I’m patient. Dude still shows plenty of potential. I won’t label dude a bust the earliest until halfway through his sophomore season

All these guys are still developing their body and it shows. Weight and conditioning is a critical development for them.

I never thought of Silas as a legit coach from the start.

    What did you all think?

I thought he was just a spot holder for a better coach... alas it is going to be Black Friday.

you talking of his trash like hes invented an electromagnetic device giving free electricity to the world...

when hes the worst freaking coach in the history of the universe....

You should really read my posts if you think I'm a 'Silas apologist'

My feeling is that his offense works, as proven for teams he's helped in the past offensively, but the players are too inexperienced and selfish to actually run it.

That is on the coach. It's on the coach to make players execute his gameplan and if they are not doing that then...he may as well not be the coach.

Silas offense is referencing the general offensive strategy that Silas chooses to implement for his teams. Just like Kerr's offense, Lue, Rivers, Billups, whatever. I am not saying he has his own unique offense or anything.

Maybe the coaching staff should've focused on that then since even you were able to put a finger on it as a weakness, 19 year olds don't magically get better. There's a reason teams with "culture" AKA accountability and actual good coaches tend to develop players very well. Didn't Silas let KPJ leave the arena at halftime with what essentially ended up being a slap on the wrist? Probably left any kind of discipline to John Lucas, who would probably make a better head coach at this point. Jabari was also very good at shooting the three in college but I imagine you'll pretend that's irrelevant instead of assuming he's in a slump which would be the logical conclusion. Pushover coaches are the worst possible thing you could surround young developing players with.
