I did. The dude got in Barkley's face and threw a drink on him after Barkley tried to avoid it. At the end of the day he's a man. He wasn't looking for an issue. The guy came to his table drunk probably looking for a blank check. I have no problem that Barkley lost his temper. I would have as well. That's what I heard. Truth is probably somewhere in the middle like always. I never heard about a woman being involved. I wasn't there for what happened with KPJ. Nobody really knows. His track record isn't good though. He doesn't seem like a peacemaker (although maybe he was). Only reason I believe Barkley is that he's an open book. Pretty straight forward and doesn't care. We agree here. I hate that part of society. People who have worked for nothing trying to take advantage of those who are successful
Stuff like that happen all the time. They have targets on their backs. My aunt drove a mail truck and had story after story of people trying to cut her off and then stop.....trying to get money from the government. People do crazy things to make money quick. Not everyone can be taken for their word.
I know that (sorry that happened to your aunt. People like that suck). That said, a lot of times they also put themselves in terrible situations. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt when they deserve it but when you have a history of messing up it's hard to do that. Completely agree but that goes both ways
This is why I would discuss only the stat side of this discussion with you. As I told you day one....if it's a "I just don't like the guy." I can't argue that. I've dislike many a player for one reason or another. I just think you would give your son or daughter or 18 to 19 year old cousins multiple second chances.....just not these getto kids of no relation. To each their own
I have a son and daughter (my son is older). I thankfully was able to set up college funds for both. No, I wouldn't If they acted like KPJ. You're an adult. Time to grow up. You either go to college (I'll support that) or pass and be on your own. You can have your college fund but that's it. That's how I was raised. I don't give my money to other relatives. Not my job. I worked for mine so work for yours. "Ghetto kids" aren't my problem. They are more than capable. People think they aren't which is sad
Obviously Silas (again the worst coach in basketball) told Gordon he could do whatever he wanted against his hometown team. Doubt it would have mattered who was on the court next to him
yeah, we were only in the game in the first half cause Gordon hit shots. We really struggled in the 2nd half, we really needed a midrange shooter, KPJ would have helped a lot today, TBH. DD
It was team Gordon. Nobody even had the opportunity to work themselves into the offense outside of off ball. KPJ has been terrible from mid range. Depends on if he would have gotten touches and what version of him showed up.
They were packing the paint, we had nothing going on the perimeter or FT line...it was weird...Jalen had 6 turnovers and a lower usage rate than usual. Ego must go. DD
