The team sucks lol is that a surprise. No one on this board should be angry or shocked at anything lol. This lineup isn’t winning anything but our players are developing. If anyone watched this game they should be encouraged by Smith being more agressive on offense. Thats a good sign. He was showing some of his skill set which was pull up 2s and playing post. His body language was great and he seems to be gaining confidence even if his shot isn’t quite there yet. This should be encouraging

The sad part is that they shouldn't have even had that much.
I remember there was under a minute left in the 1st and ind. only had 6 points and I just KNEW they would still find some way to @#$% it up and still give up double digit points and they proved me right (sigh!).

This is a team FULL of flawed players with a flawed coach as well.

On the bright side Orlando won at the buzzer and lal and det are playing each other so someone has to win that game. lol

 

Like everything is about Sengün, it's a tragic day every time they play.

It's funny how people like you insist this team is talented yet they're unarguably the worst team in the league despite all of that talent. Yes, Silas is the only reason why this team is awful. Talk about having blinders on. Reality check: If Sengun is the most talented player on a team, the team ****ing sucks. And that's not a knock on Sengun, that's a knock on the front office. A 2nd year player cannot be your most talented player on the team and the team be competent unless he's generational.

 

We don't need KPJ. We need a true PG. The offense was great in the first quarter when they shared the balls. As bad as Green played, he is +0. Our bench didn't perform. Nix is - 16, Garuba and Eason both -12.

 

didn't you see how many of his assist got blown by his teammates? yes he was invisible as his teammates keep ignoring him all the time.

Traveling calls are ridiculous. They want to speed up the game with those transition take fouls but slow it down with traveling but don’t call 3 step travels. Burton definitely traveled on that play in the 4th

 

I said during the 2nd quarter that you could tell they started losing focus. They came out playing completely unselfish ball then just...stopped. Happens every game, there is always a quarter where they play good team ball and its always the quarter that stands out and then they will just revert back to ISO ball and taking contested layups that get blocked or turning it over every other possession.

 

That’s how I feel tonight. Got stitches in my head yesterday and it’s neck and neck as to what’s more painful.
Check that. Watching Silas make excuses for the loss feels worse.

 

small sample size warning... they were brainwashed (ballhogged) encouraged to lose and nurtured to be weak for 3 years in a row now...

cant expect them to start playing smart team oriented basketball suddenly...

the worst thing to happen to this team was the KPJ experiment. It delayed the rebuild. You have guys on this team that need to know how to play with a pass first PG or someone with great vision. This is not a diss to KPJ. But we know KPJ won't be on the team in a few years, so when they do get a pass first PG, guys like JG, Sengun, Jabari will need time to adjust to playing that style. We should have gotten a place holder until we got that guy.

 

Green is pretty clearly the most talented player on the team, maybe not the most developed but his athleticism is absolutely generational. Harden was trash year 1 and he had the benefit of coming off the bench.

 

33% from the field as a team. Yeesh.

 

I'm glad I don't have access to the post game interviews. Would probably throw a pot plant at the TV hearing Silas try to justify his coaching decisions
