Simple observation. We either need to make it work between a Fernando/Aruba front court or move Fernando over the next 9 months to set him up as the starting "big".
Sengun supporters also like Garuba, fighting/non-selfish team players. They want them to play together. I'll be glad if Garuba becomes better than Sengun.
That’s right and there is no obstacle not to play Sengun and Garuba together. Both can cover each other’s weaknesses very well.
Even bringing younger Garuba (Sediq) as a second round '23 draft might help to the bench.Boy has potential.
If garuba can play center, i would b okay sending sengun to the bench if defense is too much of an issue for Sengun. I still think sengun should b starter to synergize well with green, but if Garuba keeps it up with his efficient stellar performance, he can be the starting center. I don't think sengun can play with garuba, especially if Garuba 3 pt stroke is a fluke. Not enough spacing. Sengun or Garuba one of these guys need to have 3 pt range. Theres a reason y we have yet to see the two pair with each other.
If u are silas its either garuba or sengun as the starting center. They are both extremely smart players who properly utilize fundamentals and are good passers. They both are good at boxing out. I need more sample size for garuba pnr game but sengun is great at it. All boils down to if u prefer a stronger offensive post game in sengun or a stronger defender in garuba. Silas letting Bruno start over either of them is just fked up. I'm glad he earned his mins, never gave up on him. Hopefully jc gets inspire and join his draft mates
This. I'm serious. But Smith would be the SG. Tari SF. Our three best passers would be in this lineup (Green, Garuba, Sengun). And our three best defenders (Bari, Tari, Destiny).
I like the thought process; we can shorten the rotation and get the best out of everyone. Washington, Martin & (reformed back to last year) Christopher all getting 20ish minutes Team development at its finest
Garuba. From Dream to Destiny. If you think of it, Destiny's Child started in Houston too. Coincidence, I don't think so.
