Leave it to a compulsive liar to throw 20 misleading or false claims out in a single speech. What's the count now? He has to be over 100,000 lies.
If Trump was actually convicted he most likely would be sentenced to probation and / or house arrest. The spectacle of putting a former President might be too much and yes the Secret Service is still obliged to protect him.
DeSantis will mold himself as more centrist (and sane) to make Trump look bitter, unprofessional and senile by comparison. He will continue to rally the GOP behind himself. How he acts in office who knows. But he'll play the game. Trump wont. Trump is in a BAD spot unless he somehow singlehandedly gets Hershel Walker elected.
DeSantis won't mold himself. He might talk the game, but his actions speak louder than words. He's just like a bunch of other White Christian Nationalists who stir up support from the right wing hate groups. He coddles all those right wing hate groups in Florida that support his views and policies against non-white Caucasians or the LGBTQ community. He meddles in people's lives too much if he doesn't like their lifestyle, or punishes businesses that speak out against him. Borderline Fascist DeSantis. There's a lot of people outside the GOP party that despise DeSantis.
All this talk is gonna make Trump's blood boil. His own party might be the death of him. He's gonna end up having a heart attack or stroke. Wouldn't be a shocker at all.
It's really so hypocritical how these types love seeing some thug put in a sh*t hole prison where they can be beat or raped, but they can commit crimes far far worse and know they will never be in a dangerous prison without protection. It's sickening really. Who cares if they were President or Vice President one they turn into a traitor or felon. They should lose all privileges for life, and get put in the shi*t hole prison anyone else would get put in.
Do democrats send Trump money and/or help him win the nomination? I mean that was the playbook for midterms.
I hope not. I still didn't like the idea of funding people like Bolduc. Ultimately though it was Republican voters that voted for extremist like that.
I do wonder if Trump supported Criminal Justice Reform because of the possibility of him and his associates possibly having to face the criminal justice system.
I've learned to take everything Trump says with a grain of salt and question the real agenda for every action he actually takes.
He's not that deep. He did it because he thought doing one (1) thing that would largely help African Americans, and that Kim Kardashian supported, would be transactional enough for that demographic to support him.
