I don’t know if she knows but I suspect she enjoys the attention and feels that she will win in a purple state like Arizona by being more centrist.

She is a very interesting woman.

If they want to maintain and/or grow that margin, they should.

I don't think the Congress has any business conducting most of the investigations it does. Criminal investigations specifically are far outside of the jurisdiction of Congress (as it is not a law enforcement body, but a legislative one). I would prefer they not hold useless impeachment hearings that have no chance of leading to removal from office as well, but at least impeachment is a power granted to Congress. I would prefer they spend their time repealing terrible laws, or failing that do nothing at all.

I have some very good news for you. The Rs are the masters of looking busy while doing nothing at all.

Unfortunately, not so much. When they had the presidency and majorities in both houses of Congress, they did things like passing the CARES Act, the USA Patriot Act, TARP, etc. Having divided government, on the other hand, is a good recipe for less getting done. It is too bad that, like the CARES Act, stuff will still be passed with bipartisan support.

That's what I was thinking, but she is just straight pissing off Democrats, and she is a Democrat, so I don't see how she wants to be a centrist.

Going to be interesting to see how presents herself if she tries to get reelected.

My take from this is that there seems to be a lot of fake Bobrek's?

Except that all 3 of those were done during divided government.

CARES - GOP President; Dem House and Senate
Patriot Act - GOP President & House; Dem Senate
TARP - GOP President; Dem House and Senate

Never underestimate the Democrats' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

That being said, Trump 2: Electric Boogaloo is probably not going to do well.

She has a pot of gold waiting for her whenever she's booted from the Senate. She basically spends all her time fundraising from the wealthiest people she can find and then does their bidding in the Senate - that seems to be her primary (and maybe only) interest.

It's hard to think Sinema survives her primary.

It's also worth noting Dems in AZ may not have actually *wanted* her campaigning with them. And Gallego has his own motives for shaming Sinema every time he can since he's almost certainly going to primary her.
