    Accused UVA gunman Christopher Darnell Jones Jr. was on police’s radar since September

    Jones has been on the threat assessment team’s radar earlier because of a hazing investigation that was eventually closed after witnesses would not cooperate. Police did not provide more details about the incident.

    Notably, Longo said that while investigating the hazing incident, the school “learned about prior criminal incident involving a concealed weapon violation that occurred outside the city of Charlottesville in February of 2021.

    Literally: a mentally ill man, with many red flags (reported by people who knew him), who had a handgun and then killed people.

    I'm surprised they are showing pictures of the killer, unlike that time a dude drove though a crowd filled with children during a Christmas parade and the news kept saying it was an accident because the killer was blek....

    Yeah the D&D shrugs off gun violence if the shooter isn’t a certain race
    But it’s tragic that they knew he had a gun and didn’t snitch because it costs people lives
    The police knew he was violent

    So the only reason this topic made the news is because this dude killed 3 football players, his teammates

    but woke people for some reason , think it’s ok not to snitch cause the police are bad people

    And anybody can get a gun either legally or illegally
    This dude killed his teammates on the football team
    Knew which bus they were on and killed them when they got off
    Oh guess what ? He had a criminal record

    At least on this thread it shows they don’t care about Virginia
    We do have people who care about Minnesota @rocketsjudoka

    I shrug off all gun violence thank you very much. This is America.

    I saw two classrooms of elementary school kids get shot to pieces so I'm immune to emotion.

    Fact is people get shot a lot in this country. Just have to hope it ain't someone you know and love. Don't like it? Move.

    Well Minnesota is America's Heartland...

    On the main story, terrible situation. I haven't followed the story closely enough but was the guy jealous that he wasn't on the team anymore?

    There's also a case at the University of Idaho where 4 students were killed in their apartment. Reports are they were killed with a knife and the killer is still at large.

    Well a lot of people did move to Mexico from California cause of cost of living and maybe crime but you got cartels there

    And you are right lots of violence happens in America not just cherry picking ones that you can politicize and glue yourself to the floor and go on Clutchfans and scream something is wrong with people living in a certain state

    This is technically a school shooting
    What I found interesting is the snitching rule, people should have snitched on him
    Motive seems personal
