Green's turnover rate is quite low compared to our rotation players, only Jabari, Eason and KJ Martin have lower TOV%.

The point was to offer up logical reasoning why he is catching more heat for his turnovers, which your post was questioning.

As it stands now on top of his high turnover rate he’s scoring at a terribly inefficient rate and not doing much playmaking to compensate for it. I was trying to offer up a scenario where a high turnover rate would likely be more acceptable and less b****ing would happen.

The reason he averages the most turnovers per game is because he has the ball the most. The reason he turns the ball over on a higher percentage of possessions is because he is less careful and makes more poor decisions on a per possession basis. There is a difference between total and rate.

I think like with the TS% debate you don’t grasp how even a few percentage points, that might seem small, is actually a big difference in the scheme of an entire season. The difference between someone who turns it over 18% of the time and 12% of the time is really big. Just like the difference between a 51.5 TS% and 55 TS% is big.

Lofty expectations. Almost impossible to achieve what you are describing without having a top 10 type player in the league. Not even Ja is sitting near your markers - would anyone scoff at having Ja on this roster running point?

I could really care less about your vindication parade. You're a terrible fan and your contribution here is nothing but toxic self gratifying posts. Enjoy the high while it lasts people like you just wander from cesspool to cesspool like flies and wonder why they have to sit at the kids table.

I did grasp how a few percentages did not make much difference and proved my point, but now you want to forget that and act like I did not.

Yes Jalen is better at finishing and what’s most intriguing is his upside to get even better. It just doesn’t hurt anything and might even help KPJ.

The fact is we have young players who constantly are breaking plays probably out of ignorance and an unsophisticated coach. I just think putting the ball in Jalens hands to run a pick and roll heavy offense makes sense at this point. We have more invested long term in Jalen being a superstar we could build around. There’s no reason to not at some point at least give it a chance.

Clearly your feelings are hurt. I understand. Like I said, you pranced around non stop before the season declaring how you couldn't wait to laugh, celebrate watch all of us eat crow. Now, when the shoe is on the other foot you throw a fit because you're a hypocrite.

I don't like KPJ. He's a quitter and a losing player. I'm a bad fan for that. Show me one other instance where I have been that adamant about a player. When you can't it will just another example of you being wrong

I have been here since 2004. Say what you want but I am good fan. Now go take the KPJ poster off your ceiling

I truly wonder what KPJ does during the summer time

KPJ had a 36% usage rate yesterday, by far the highest on the team…keep in mind that Luka leads the league at 39% for reference

How do u take 18 shots and 15 free throws in 32 minutes, and score just 20 points?

I don't understand the plan with the Rockets. I guess they want to be patient with KPJ, but if Stone is going to insist on him being a PG, then he needs to bring in another coach to try a different strategy. I don't expect KPJ to ever be a PG and I gave up on that idea last year, but front office is gung-ho about it.

It's not gonna matter when we draft Scoot or Wemby. KPJ needs to behave up his trade value and we will move him in the next 14 months.

I am giving the organization the benefit of the doubt that this failed experiment will be over once the next season starts…however, if we’re in the 2023-24 season, and we’re still trotting out KPJ as our starting PG, there needs to be a dialogue on here regarding Stone and our FO

This could literally be fixed in 5 minutes of coaching, whereas Silas says Green is the number 1 priority, and we get the ball to him in the 4th....

    And KPJ is tertiary.

KPJ has a history of acting out and throwing things when held accountable for his actions

To be fair, these "lofty expectations" were perpetuated by KPJ stans / warriors who kept claiming he was going to break out this year and average 20/7/7 on good efficiency and that everyone else who disagreed were idiots who didn't understand basketball.

Reeko , he’s a victim. Yes he’s had special treatment, but he deserves it because he’s got emotional problems. Folks demanding he be held to the same standard as his teammates are being unfair. Lol

So the obvious re-direct is to say that the team needs a top 5 player with a 62% TS on "high volume" and dishes out 9 assists per game? Well guess what I AGREE with that! Who is that guy on the team now? Who is that guy in the future? That same thought would probably apply to almost every single team in the NBA by the way and is nearly impossible to capture even with the stars in the game now.

So KPJ didnt break out -- was it that bad to hope he did? What were the other options? You people havent offered much in terms of corrective action other than just shining your apples and patting yourselves on the back. The fuq else you all want? To play spread eagle with the guys who pulled for him? So now 20/7/7 is the barometer -- well he's not far from that now! LOL

You were right - so in your infinite knowledge how does the team get better from here? Where is this generational talent coming from to save the day?
