Houston Rockets forget all about Jalen Green in the 4th quarter

the constant caping and excuse making for KPJ has gotten over the top...looks so forced too...

it's like they don't even believe half the sh*t they say, but gotta stay in character

 

I see where you coming from but this is YMCA level basic situation(reaction)

For instance we are on same team down 8 and you go off for 8 straight to tie it, its a must I Am looking for you from my demand or yours

And since most claim the rockets style is basically playing like a pick up game(ymca) then that is on the PG and coach 80% and the rest on Green

 

Go back and watch the condensed game highlights from NO for the last 8 minutes or so. Often times he doesn't actually make a decisive move until theres :15 or less left.

The Rockets success rate on these was low!

The ones in where he went quickly (once + a transition) worked out well.

The other problem - as the shot clock ticks down Garubas man can pretty much just completely ignore him and there's 3 paint defenders.

That's not going to work.

Anyone with common sense knows this is on KPJ.

 

Once Stone gets smart and figures out a way to get rid of KPJ and get a real PG to run this offense, Jalen will be that #1 option for our team.

The way things are going - the tank is still on, led by KPJ and Silas. In the meantime kids, sit back, relax, and enjoy the season of tanking.

Yes he does it all the time to Sengun too. KPJ will do KPJ things. He wants the spotlight. He's like a baby and needs attention all the time,

Last game there were a few instances when Jalen got upset for not getting the ball in the fourth.

 

KPJ probably isn’t a pg. He’s a good player but relying on him to make the right read or run the offense isn’t a long term solution. Maybe that comes with experience but it looks more likely that his success will come from a different role.

In the meantime it’s not really hurting anyone to keep the experiment running so long as you stagger his minutes with Green. If we compete hard and lose this year it’s still fine. Better not **** around next year though.

 

The contract Stone had KPJ sign makes it super easy to trade him or dump him.
