So most of us who are objective about this team and the players on it knew that this comment was wrong, but wonder if you noticed the 6 dimes Jalen handed out last game. In case you didn't, check the 30 second mark of this video for one of the sweetest dimes of the night. Pretty nice for someone who "...doesn't create shots for others." You folks have got to stop with this who's the best crap, because on nights like Saturday it is silly. These guys are going to have their ups and downs, lets try to enjoy without putting players down to prop up others. You watch the games so you knew when you said it that it was wrong, but still felt the need to say it to give Sengun a leg up as a shot creator. They both are offensive monsters and when they draw attention they create shots for their teammates... simple.
Mitchell Robinson is the swap-boy, not Davis. Mitchell fits KPJ-JGreen experiment, big body, lob threat, ready to accept low-profile presence, 15M/year.not expenive, not blocking superstar(s) signings. Alpi fits to Knicks, creative, show-time, cash generator (because of Turkish diaspora), media darling. Win-win, everybody HEPPY.
too early to say. Just like Sengun was not asked to shoot 3s, green never needed many things because he can dominate in other ways. He has a strong work ethic, a rare combination of such athletic gift and work ethic, so my expectations are extremely high on him. He is isoing a lot now but I don’t get a selfish vibe from him. once he is comfortable with his scoring, I am sure we’ll see him more creating for others.
yep...nice btw i wanted to say that i wouldn't... this team would be better off with alpi than with anthony davis, although he has it all that alpi 'lacks', the 3 point shot, 2 way player, lob threat, plus hes 'the real superstar' acknowledged by the media, champion and vet mentor for the young.... oth alpi would be given stage to show the world who he is, a fair ref treatment and opportunity to play with lebron who is an awesome player...that duo would be something to behold...a true superstar duo!
do you think alpi could be the lead guard on this team? and do you think he is in that mold? and will he ever be the lead guard? thank you for an honest answer
No, he does not have the handles, slow for transition, problems guarding other guards. But Rockets could and should have invested in developing his handles, and it would open up his game a lot. Big mistake in my opinion.
Davis has a strong ego, won't accept KPJ-leaded team. Lakers is as bad as Rockets at the moment. Supporting LeBron instead of KPJ won't help Alpi's improvement. LeBron is in winter of his career (even autumn era passed away), KPJ's PG trial is a delusion. LA is not in east coast also, does not help.
