After Vic comes next year and a young PG is found this guy needs to be regulated to the Jordan Clarkson 6th man role.

I'm pretty calm, you're the one that types overly-emotional crap on literally every threat you participate in.

But you're definitely an unpleasant person, I don't think we can be friends.

At this point in time, I don't know if I even want him in a significant 6th man role long term. For this season, sure he can be the 6th man, but when we fire Silas and hopefully become serious about winning, I don't want KPJ getting any more than 20-25 mins a night. He needs to earn that role and nothing that he's done so far in his career says that he deserves it.

He's a selfish loser on top of being a quitter. He screwed up his draft status, the Cabs gave him to is and now he's leading us to the worst record again. What type of bum leaves at halftime time? Trash on and off the court. Only reason he's starting is because the worst coach in basketball likes him. Two idiots who should have left in New Orleans

It might b lack of patience but I would argue that this desire to play kpj as pg hinders the development of Smith. Man is basically the fifth option on the the starting squad. If he wants to hone his offense game he has a better chance scoring by second chance rebound over kpj passing him da dam ball

I think the Rockets realize what they have in KPJ. He is the tank commander. Stats are very misleading with him. There is a reason they gave him a “1 year deal.” He is going to slow the growth of Jabari, and thankfully Jalen is to good to be held back.

I now understand why Nix gets minutes. He will play decent defense and feed the hot hand/knock down open shots.

Last night is why he's a whipping boy.

He can be so great and yet so stupid sometimes.

I've been a KPJ critic of his outbursts, but I look at long-term trends and try not to live only in the moment. He's improved overall this year, Alvarado is an agitator like Beverly used to be and initiated the situation, KPJ should have kept his cool true, but he's gotten better and he's still only 22.

He had a good game until the final five minutes, it was one bad quarter and he's young. I would let him continue to develop and shake it off. He's also had game-winning shots under pressure in the moment, give him time as he's showing real action to develop imo.

This is where coaching would say hmmm maybe let's not have him have over 60% of the touches, which would put him in the best position to succeed.

Tyrese is one of my favorite players in the league and someone I wish we had a chance of getting when SAC was stupid enough to let him go last year

Right now, KPJ simply occupies too much of the Rockets possessions:
    1. He is averaging 81 touches per game, Green and Segun come after him at 59 and 50 touches per game.
    2. His average time of possession 7.2 seconds, putting him at 8th in the entire league. The 2nd highest is Green at 4.2 seconds, and the 3-5th highest are all around 2 seconds. The gap between KPJ and everyone else is enormous. Whenever KPJ is on the court, he on average takes up 30% of the available shot clock.
    3. Having high amount of touches is somewhat manageable if shots attempted is low, but KPJ averages the 2nd most shots on the team. Only 2 fewer shots than Green.
This basically just comes down to the fact that the ball is very sticky with KPJ. Any time the ball goes to him, he will take possession of it and either shoot it, or use up nearly 1/3 of the shot clock.

Those all should be minutes per game, not seconds.

KPJs average time of possession per touch is 5.31 seconds.
